EJYTRVT Solar RV Step Lights — 4-Pack Magnetic LED Strips, IP65 Waterproof, Auto-On Warm Glow

EJYTRVT Magnetic Solar RV Step Lights are a four-pack of IP65-rated, solar-powered LED strips that attach without drilling and automatically illuminate RV steps at night.

These compact LED step lights combine a built-in solar panel, light sensor, and flexible mounting options so you can add safe, low-maintenance illumination to your camper or motorhome without wiring or frequent battery swaps. Each unit charges in daylight, turns on at dusk, and provides a soft warm glow ideal for finding steps, creating ambiance, and reducing trip hazards around your rig.

How do these lights power themselves and operate automatically?

Each light contains an integrated solar cell and a light sensor so it absorbs sunlight during the day and switches on automatically when ambient light drops. To enable the function, set the small ON switch before first use; after that the sensor handles dusk-to-dawn operation for hands-off convenience.

• Solar-charged battery—no external wiring or disposable batteries needed
• Built-in light sensor for auto on at night and off at dawn
• Simple ON switch to activate solar charging before initial exposure
• Soft warm LED output designed for steps and entryways

What mounting options are available and will they hold up on the road?

The EJYTRVT lights offer three mounting methods so you can adapt them to metal or nonmetal surfaces and choose between temporary or permanent placement. Strong magnets let you snap the lights onto metal step frames for easy removal when traveling, adhesive pads work for vinyl or fiberglass surfaces, and included screws provide a more permanent installation.

• Powerful magnets for quick attach/detach on metal steps
• Double-sided adhesive pads for nonmetal or textured surfaces
• Mounting screws included for permanent installs if preferred
• Low-profile form factor prevents interference with foot traffic

Are these lights weatherproof and suitable for year-round outdoor use?

Yes—each strip is built to IP65 standards, so the housing protects against rain, dust, and low-pressure water jets, making them appropriate for camping in varying climates. Their robust enclosure and sealed electronics let you leave them on an RV exterior throughout wet or snowy seasons without worrying about moisture damage.

• IP65 rating resists rain, dust, and harsh outdoor conditions
• Durable casing designed for repeated attach/removal cycles
• UV-tolerant exterior minimizes sun degradation over time
• Compact design reduces wind drag and snag risk while driving

How bright are the LEDs and will they improve step safety without glare?

The LEDs produce a soft, warm glow that is bright enough to reveal step edges and reduce missteps while remaining comfortable to the eyes. They are intended to provide mood lighting and safety guidance rather than high-lumen task lighting, striking a balance between visibility and ambiance.

• Warm white LEDs for clear step definition without harsh glare
• Even light distribution across the strip to reduce shadows
• Low power draw maximizes solar runtime through the night
• Compact footprint keeps mounting area unobtrusive
