Escentile Aluminum Brightener & Acid Cleaner — 1 Gal Concentrate for Boats, Trailers & Wheels, Restores Oxidized Aluminum

Escentile Aluminum Brightener & Acid Cleaner is a concentrated acid-based solution formulated to dissolve oxidation, exhaust residue, and grime from weathered aluminum surfaces, restoring a brighter, more uniform appearance when used per label directions.

This professional-strength concentrate treats oxidized and discolored aluminum on boats, pontoons, trailers, RV panels, wheels, tanks, and equipment. The formula is intended to chemically lift oxidation and surface deposits so cleaning is easier; it is not a mechanical polish and will not fix deep pitting or structural corrosion. One gallon (128 fl oz) dilutes to make up to 10–15 gallons of working solution depending on the cleaning strength required. Made in the USA, the product is applied with a pump sprayer or brush, allowed to dwell for the recommended time, then rinsed thoroughly with water.

How do I dilute and apply this aluminum cleaner for best results?

Dilution depends on soil level: use the stronger recommended ratio for heavy oxidation and the lighter ratio for routine maintenance. Always follow the product label for exact mixing and safety steps, and test a small inconspicuous area first.

• Typical stronger dilution mixes one gallon concentrate to make about 10 gallons of working solution.
• Maintenance dilution can extend up to 15 gallons per gallon of concentrate.
• Apply with a pump sprayer or a soft-bristle brush, allow dwell time, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Will this product restore a mirror-like polish to heavily pitted aluminum?

This cleaner removes oxidation, stains, and surface discoloration to reveal brighter metal, but it is not a substitute for mechanical polishing. For a showroom-quality shine on heavily pitted or deeply corroded metal, follow cleaning with dedicated aluminum polishes and polishing tools.

• Removes oxidation residue, exhaust marks, and general grime to improve uniformity.
• Not designed to fill or repair deep pits or structural corrosion.
• Finish polishing or buffing is recommended after cleaning for a high-gloss look.

Is it safe for all aluminum surfaces and how do I protect surrounding materials?

The acid-based formula is formulated for aluminum, boats, trailers, wheels, and similar surfaces, but it can affect non-aluminum materials. Protect painted finishes, anodized parts, rubber trim, and stainless hardware by masking or rinsing those areas promptly.

• Test a small area first to confirm surface compatibility and appearance.
• Avoid contact with sensitive materials—cover or rinse adjacent components quickly.
• Use recommended personal protective equipment and follow label safety guidance.

Who is this for: Escentile Aluminum Brightener & Acid Cleaner is aimed at boat owners, marinas, vehicle detailers, fleet operators, RV enthusiasts, and maintenance teams who need a concentrated, professional-grade cleaning solution to remove oxidation and heavy surface contamination from aluminum. It’s ideal when chemical cleaning is preferred over aggressive mechanical scrubbing, and when follow-up polishing will achieve the desired final shine.
