Espusta Cerium Oxide Glass Polish Kit — 3-piece compact kit with wool and foam pads for windshield, mirror and headlight scratch r

Espusta Cerium Oxide Glass Polish Kit is a complete polishing system that safely restores clarity to scratched windshields, mirrors, windows and headlights using soft cerium oxide and wool agitation.

If you want to remove light-to-moderate glass scratches, wiper marks or surface haze without replacing the pane, this compact kit supplies the abrasive polish and multiple polishing interfaces to attack blemishes mechanically and chemically. The components are made for automotive and household glass, and the method is straightforward: make a paste, work the area with the wool or polishing pad, and repeat until clarity improves. It’s designed for hobbyists and DIY detailers who prefer a non-destructive repair option.

How does the cerium oxide polish work on automotive glass?

Cerium oxide is a glass polishing compound that, when mixed with water and applied under light pressure, abrades and polishes the glass surface to reduce the appearance of scratches and water spots. The kit combines the powder with wool and foam pads to control contact, speed up cutting, and produce a smooth finish without harsh scoring.

• Use a damp cerium oxide paste for controlled abrasion
• Wool wheel removes deeper marks; foam pad finishes the surface
• Suitable for windshields, side/rear windows, mirrors and headlights

What tools and parts are included and why they matter?

The Espusta kit supplies a polishing pad, a wool wheel, and a polishing disk sized for small- to medium-scale repairs, giving you the right contact surfaces for cutting and finishing. Each accessory is chosen to balance aggressiveness and finish quality so you can start with the wool for stubborn defects and switch to the foam pad for final clarity.

• Approx. 78mm / 3.07in polishing pad for controlled surface contact
• Approx. 25mm / 0.98in wool wheel for more aggressive scratch removal
• Approx. 80mm / 3.15in polishing disk to refine and even out the finish

How should I prepare and apply the polish to get the best results?

Preparation and technique determine the outcome: clean the glass, mask surrounding paint or trim, and work in small sections at moderate speed with steady pressure. Reapply paste as needed and inspect under good lighting; repeat passes rather than forcing high-speed cuts which can cause streaking.

• Thoroughly wash and dry the glass before starting
• Mix cerium oxide powder with water to a creamy paste consistency
• Work in 2–4 inch sections, finishing with the foam pad for gloss

Will this kit damage coated or laminated glass?

This product is intended for uncoated automotive and household glass surfaces. Exercise caution with factory-applied coatings, anti-glare films or laminated safety glass; the abrasive action can dull or remove thin surface treatments, so test a discreet area first.

• Not recommended for delicate coated or chemically treated glass without testing
• Do a small test spot before treating the entire pane
• Use minimal pressure and fewer passes on fragile finishes

Who is this for: The Espusta Cerium Oxide Glass Polish Kit suits DIY car owners, detailers, and home renovators who want an affordable way to reduce visible scratches and restore clarity to uncoated glass and headlights. It’s especially helpful for people who prefer repair and maintenance over replacing entire glass pieces, and for technicians needing compact, portable polishing tools for spot repairs.
