EVIL ENERGY 10AN straight push-lock hose fitting is a 6061-T6 aluminum, 10AN-to-5/8" barb connector designed for rubber fuel lines, sold as a 2-piece black set.
Built for automotive and motorsport plumbing where compact, reliable hose connections are required, this pair of fittings converts a 10AN threaded port (7/8-14 UNF) to a 5/8" barb for push-on rubber fuel hose. The fittings are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for a high strength-to-weight ratio and finished in black for corrosion resistance and a low-profile appearance. Rated to 1,500 PSI and specified for -40°F to 248°F, they are meant for non-crimped rubber fuel line applications and are best used with clamps to secure sealing.
The 10AN end uses a standard 7/8-14 UNF thread to mate with compatible AN ports or adapters, while the other end is a 5/8" barb that accepts rubber fuel hose. Push the rubber hose over the barb and secure it with an appropriate clamp to ensure a leak-resistant connection. These fittings are not intended for use with hard or braided PTFE lines unless an adapter or sleeve is used.
These aluminum fittings are rated to a maximum working pressure of 1,500 PSI and withstand temperatures from -40°F to 248°F, covering a wide range of engine bay conditions. The 6061-T6 construction balances durability with light weight, while the anodized black finish helps resist corrosion. Always check compatibility with your fluid type and operating environment before installation.
Installation is straightforward: thread the 10AN end into the mating port, push the rubber hose over the 5/8" barb, and secure with a clamp. Use thread sealant or PTFE tape on the male thread if the system requires added leak protection—follow the sealant manufacturer's recommendations for fuel systems. Periodic inspection for chafe, clamp tightness, and seal condition keeps the connection reliable.
This 2-piece set is aimed at mechanics, tuners, and DIY enthusiasts who need a compact 10AN-to-5/8" barb connection for rubber fuel lines in automotive, marine, or motorsport applications. It suits retrofit work, fuel line routing changes, and small plumbing projects where weight and space matter. These fittings are ideal when you require standard AN threading with a push-on rubber hose termination and prefer to secure the seal with hose clamps for serviceability.
Whether you are replacing worn connectors, converting fittings to accept rubber fuel hose, or building a compact feed/return line, the EVIL ENERGY 10AN straight push-lock hose fittings deliver a robust aluminum option in an easy-to-install two-piece set. Confirm hose material compatibility and use clamps as recommended to maximize performance and safety.
Q: Can these fittings be used with braided PTFE hose?
A: No — they are designed for rubber fuel lines; braided PTFE requires a compatible adapter or crimp-style fitting.
Q: Do I need clamps with the 5/8" barb?
A: Yes — clamps are recommended to ensure a reliable, leak-resistant seal on rubber hoses.
