EVIL ENERGY 3-Inch V-Band Clamp 304 Stainless (NoFlanges) — Cr-Mo T-Bolt Reusable Exhaust/Turbo Seal

The EVIL ENERGY 3-inch V-band clamp is a 304 stainless steel, no-flange clamp designed to create a tight, reusable seal for turbo, downpipe and exhaust connections.

This premium V-band clamps into EVIL ENERGY 3.0" flanges (flanges sold separately) and is built for repeated assembly and disassembly without sacrificing clamp pressure or corrosion resistance. Crafted from 304 stainless steel with a chromium-molybdenum T-bolt, it balances longevity with the strength needed for high-heat automotive environments.

How does this V-band clamp hold a turbo or exhaust joint together?

The clamp uses a V-shaped profile that bites into paired mating flanges, squeezing them evenly to form a reliable mechanical seal. Its design minimizes leak paths while allowing quick hand or wrench tightening using the T-bolt fastener.

• V-profile grips flange lips to concentrate sealing force.
• Even radial pressure reduces hot-gas leaks at joints.
• Quick-release T-bolt enables fast removal for maintenance.
• Compatible with EVIL ENERGY 3.0" flanges (flanges not included).

What materials and hardware are used for durability?

Corrosion resistance and temperature tolerance come from the 304 stainless-steel band, while the T-bolt uses chromium-molybdenum steel to withstand clamping loads. These materials resist rust and maintain clamping force through repeated thermal cycles common in exhaust and turbo systems.

• 304 stainless steel band resists oxidation and pitting.
• Chromium-molybdenum T-bolt provides high tensile strength.
• Thread size M8 x 1.25 for common wrench compatibility.
• T-bolt length 2.63" suitable for standard 3.0" flange stacks.

Will this clamp fit my setup and how easy is installation?

This clamp is sized specifically to pair with EVIL ENERGY 3.0" flanges, so ensure your components match that diameter. Installation is straightforward: align the flanges, seat the V-band around them and tighten the T-bolt until the seal is snug—no welding necessary.

• Fits EVIL ENERGY 3.0" flange systems; flanges sold separately.
• Tool-friendly T-bolt for quick tightening and loosening.
• No special fixtures or welding required for assembly.
• Designed for frequent removal—ideal for service access.

What applications is this clamp appropriate for?

The clamp is intended for high-temperature vehicle exhaust and turbo plumbing, including downpipes, mufflers and intercooler piping transitions. It provides a secure mechanical joint where regular disassembly or inspection is expected.

• Turbocharger outlet and compressor housings (3.0" connections).
• Downpipes and exhaust sections requiring serviceability.
• Muffler and mid-pipe interfaces where sealing and removal matter.
• Aftermarket performance plumbing with matching EVIL ENERGY flanges.

Who is this for: If you maintain or upgrade turbocharged or performance exhaust systems and need a robust, serviceable 3.0" connection, this EVIL ENERGY V-band clamp offers corrosion resistance, repeatable sealing and a strong T-bolt fastening solution. It’s especially useful for mechanics, fabricators and enthusiasts who frequently access turbo or exhaust joints and want a durable clamp that pairs with EVIL ENERGY 3.0" flanges.
