EVOC Tailgate PAD Duo — Standard Black pickup pad, PVC-free waterproof padding for two bikes

EVOC Tailgate PAD Duo is a heavy-duty, PVC-free tailgate pad that cushions and secures two bikes on a pickup truck while protecting both bikes and tailgate from scratches and impact during transport.

This premium tailgate pad is designed for riders who haul bicycles in a pickup truck and want a reliable, weatherproof solution that keeps bikes stable and prevents damage to vehicle paint and components. Made from EVOC’s resilient tarpaulin (PVC-free), the Duo configuration fits most standard-size pickups and features reinforced fixation points and thoughtful attachment options so you can load and drive with confidence.

How does the EVOC Tailgate PAD Duo protect my bikes and truck?

The pad offers a padded barrier between bike frames and the metal tailgate, absorbing shocks, preventing metal-to-metal contact, and shielding paint from scratches. Its waterproof, temperature-resistant material also guards against mud, moisture, and abrasion on long trips.

• Thick padded layers cushion frames and forks to reduce impact transfer.
• Robust, abrasion-resistant tarpaulin withstands rough edges and debris.
• 100% waterproof fabric repels rain and road spray during transit.
• Full-width coverage prevents direct contact with the tailgate surface.

How do I secure bikes to the tailgate pad for safe transport?

EVOC includes multiple reinforced fixation points and straps that anchor bikes to the pad and tailgate, minimizing movement during acceleration or cornering. The layout allows you to position bikes on either side of the tailgate opener for flexible loading and easy access.

• Integrated straps loop around frames and attach to the tailgate for a snug fit.
• Reinforced anchor points on the pad resist tear-out under load.
• Adjustable strap lengths accommodate different bike sizes and geometries.
• Attachment works on both left and right tailgate hinging configurations.

Will the Tailgate PAD Duo fit my truck and different bike types?

The standard-size Duo is made to suit most medium and full-size pickup tailgates. Its flexible design accepts a range of bike frames—from mountain and gravel bikes to most road bikes—while offering options for different tailgate widths and hinge placements.

• Standard size fits common pickup tailgates; verify dimensions with your truck model.
• Open design accommodates a variety of frame shapes and wheel sizes.
• Can be installed on tailgates with either left or right opener sides.
• Light enough to carry yet durable for repeated use and heavy loads.

What materials and care instructions keep the pad performing long-term?

The pad uses EVOC’s PVC-free tarpaulin, chosen for resilience, high temperature tolerance, and waterproofing. Routine care—rinsing off grit and drying before storage—extends life and maintains the pad’s protective qualities without special cleaners.

• PVC-free tarpaulin resists UV, cold, and heat aging for consistent protection.
• Wipe or hose off mud and road salt; air dry fully before folding.
• Avoid sharp tools and excessive folding at the same spot to prevent wear.
• Store in a dry place when not in use to preserve waterproof coating.

Who is this for? The EVOC Tailgate PAD Duo is built for cyclists who routinely transport two bikes in a pickup and demand a durable, weatherproof pad that protects valuable frames and vehicle paint. It’s ideal for weekend racers, mountain bikers, and weekend family outings where secure, scratch-free transport is a priority. If you want a low-fuss, heavy-duty solution that anchors bikes securely and adapts to standard pickup tailgates, the EVOC Tailgate PAD Duo provides professional-grade protection and convenience.
