EVPOVO Level 2 32A Portable EV Charger — J1772 with NEMA 14-50, 25ft Cable, Wi‑Fi App Control

The EVPOVO Level 2 32A portable EV charger is a compact, app-enabled J1772 charger that plugs into a NEMA 14-50 outlet to deliver up to 7.68 kW and roughly 22–25 miles of range per hour.

Designed for homeowners and travelers who need faster charging than a standard Level 1 cord, this EVPOVO unit combines a high-power 32 amp output, adjustable current settings, and Wi‑Fi app control in a weather-resistant package. It uses a common J1772 connector, a 25-foot cold-resistant TPU cable, and an integrated NEMA 14-50 plug so you can charge at home, at a campsite, or anywhere a 240V outlet is available. Built-in ETL-listed safety features help protect your vehicle and home electrical system while offering scheduling and remote monitoring for convenience.

How quickly will this charger add range to my electric vehicle?

This charger delivers up to 7.68 kW at 32 amps on a 240V NEMA 14-50 circuit, which typically adds about 22–25 miles of range per hour depending on vehicle efficiency. You can also reduce the amperage to 24, 20, or 16A if your electrical panel or outlet requires lower current.

• Maximum output: 7.68 kW at 32A for fastest Level 2 charging.
• Adjustable amps: set to 32/24/20/16A to match breaker capacity.
• Estimated charging: ~200 miles in 8 hours at full 32A output (vehicle dependent).

What safety and compatibility features does the EVPOVO charger include?

The EVPOVO is ETL listed to applicable standards and includes protective electronics to guard against over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-temperature conditions. It also has CCID20 leakage protection and should be used with a correctly installed NEMA 14-50 outlet wired to meet local electrical codes.

• ETL certified to UL 2594 and UL 2231-1/-2 standards.
• Built-in protections: over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and leakage detection.
• Requires a properly installed NEMA 14-50 outlet and compatible J1772 vehicle inlet.

How do I control charging schedules and monitor sessions?

Control is available locally via the charger buttons or remotely through the Smart Life app over 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi. The app lets you set delayed starts, schedule off-peak charging to save on electricity, and view real-time charging status and energy use.

• Smart Life app: schedule, monitor, and manage charging sessions remotely.
• Local control: adjust amperage and start/stop from the charger buttons without the app.
• Connectivity: requires 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi for app features; manual control works offline.

Will this charger work with my vehicle and in cold weather?

The EVPOVO Level 2 charger uses the universal J1772 connector, making it compatible with nearly all plug-in hybrids and EVs sold in North America (use an adapter for some EVs if needed). Its 25 ft TPU cable is formulated to remain flexible down to -22°F, and the enclosure is weather-resistant for indoor or outdoor use when protected from standing water.

• Connector: J1772 fits most PHEVs and BEVs; compatible with many popular models.
• Cable: 25 ft cold-resistant TPU maintains flexibility to -22°F.
• Weather resistance: suitable for sheltered outdoor charging; keep plug and outlet dry.

Who is this for: The EVPOVO Level 2 32A portable charger suits homeowners, RV travelers, and EV owners who want faster at-home charging or need a reliable portable solution for 240V outlets. It’s a good fit if you have a NEMA 14-50 outlet (or plan to install one), want app-based scheduling and monitoring, and prefer adjustable amp settings to match various electrical setups and breaker limitations.
