ezatrading 12-Pack RV Air Conditioner Filters 5.25" Round MERV 8 — 0.59" Thick, Center Hole

If you own an RV or camper, keeping the air pathways clear and protecting the AC evaporator coil from visible debris matters for comfort and maintenance. These 12 circular filters measure 5.25 inches in diameter and 0.59 inches thick, feature a centered opening for vent hardware, and use a two-layer white-and-blue polyester media rated MERV 8. They’re sold in a bulk set intended for routine monthly swaps to limit dust buildup and reduce the frequency of intensive cleanings.

How will these filters fit my RV air vent?

Each filter is cut to a 5.25" diameter with a central hole that aligns with common RV AC vent mounting designs. The 0.59" thickness provides a snug fit in recessed vent housings without compressing the media. Check your vent opening diameter and central fastener placement to confirm compatibility before ordering.

• Outer diameter: 5.25 inches for standard round RV vents
• Central hole to accommodate vent screws or post
• 0.59 inch thickness for secure seating, not flattened
• Sold in a 12-pack for multiple replacements

What does MERV 8 polyester media actually capture?

MERV 8 rating indicates effective filtration of common airborne particles like dust, pollen, and pet dander without creating high airflow resistance. The two-layer polyester construction balances particle capture and airflow so your RV’s AC system can operate without undue strain. This filter is intended for basic particulate protection rather than allergen-grade or HEPA-level filtration.

• Targets larger airborne particles: dust, lint, pollen
• Two-layer white-and-blue polyester media for staged filtration
• Maintains airflow while reducing visible dust in vents
• Not designed to replace HEPA or activated-carbon filters

How often should I replace these RV AC vent filters?

The manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every month under typical usage to maintain ventilation performance and reduce cleaning frequency. If you travel in dusty or high-pollen environments, swap filters more often. Regular changes help keep the AC intake cleaner and can simplify seasonal maintenance checks.

• Standard recommendation: replace every 1 month
• Replace more frequently in dusty conditions
• Monthly swaps keep vents cleaner and reduce deep cleaning
• 12-pack covers roughly a year at monthly replacement for one vent

Will these filters affect my RV AC’s performance?

Designed with a MERV 8 rating and low-profile thickness, these filters aim to protect without restricting airflow significantly. Proper fit prevents gaps that could allow unfiltered air while minimizing added load on the blower motor. Replace clogged filters promptly to avoid reduced cooling efficiency.

• Low resistance MERV 8 media balances protection and airflow
• Correct sizing minimizes bypass and maintains ventilation
• Timely replacement prevents reduced cooling output
• Intended as preventive maintenance, not a performance enhancer

Who is this for: This 12-pack from ezatrading is a practical choice for RV owners, fleet operators, and seasonal campers who want a straightforward, replaceable filter for round vents with a center fastening point. It suits people who prioritize easy maintenance, routine filter swaps, and keeping visible dust out of vents without upgrading to specialty filtration. If you need HEPA-level allergen filtration, consider an alternative designed for that purpose; if you want reliable monthly replacements that match common RV vent dimensions, this product is a good fit.
