How does this gasket maintain a durable seal in axle applications?

• Precision cut and formed to match OE bolt patterns and sealing surfaces
• Validated for fit, form and function under real‑world conditions
• Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications for durability

What should I check before installing the RDS 55478 gasket?

Before installation, verify the axle housing mating surfaces are clean, flat and free of old gasket residue or corrosion. Confirm the part number and vehicle compatibility, inspect bolt holes and torque specifications, and follow proper gasket installation practices to ensure a reliable seal.

• Clean mating surfaces and remove any old gasket material
• Confirm part number matches your vehicle’s axle cover pattern
• Replace mounting fasteners if worn and torque to manufacturer spec
• Inspect sealing surface for damage or warpage before installing
