Fel-Pro Valve Cover Gasket Set for 2001–2005 Honda Civic & Acura EL — VS 50606R, Cork-Rubber Complete Seal Kit

Fel-Pro VS 50606 R is a complete valve cover gasket set engineered to restore a reliable seal for 2001–2005 Honda Civic and 2001–2005 Acura EL engines.

This Fel-Pro gasket set supplies the valve cover sealing components designed to replace worn or damaged parts during routine service or repairs. Built from a cork-rubber compound and validated on-vehicle, the kit aims to conform to imperfect sealing surfaces and include the pieces technicians expect for a full valve cover job. Use this set to reduce oil seepage around the valve cover area and to simplify reassembly with matched parts.

Which vehicles and engines does this Fel-Pro set fit?

The VS 50606 R set is made for specified early-2000s Honda and Acura models. Confirm fitment for your specific year, model, engine and trim before ordering to ensure compatibility.

• Fits 2001–2005 Acura EL models.
• Fits 2001–2005 Honda Civic, including 2002–2004 Civic variants noted by the manufacturer.
• Check vehicle information (year, make, model, engine, trim) against seller fit tools before purchase.

How does this gasket set handle imperfect sealing surfaces?

Fel-Pro engineers this set to seal real-world surfaces that may have light wear or minor warpage. The cork-rubber blend is conformable so it fills small surface irregularities without requiring perfect mating faces.

• Proprietary cork-rubber formulation adapts to minor surface flaws.
• Conformability helps prevent slow leaks where covers meet the head.
• Designed for repair environments rather than factory-new surfaces.

What parts are included and why does that matter for a repair?

The kit includes all necessary pieces for a valve cover gasket replacement unless the product notes state otherwise. Having a matched set reduces risk of leftover components, simplifies installation and helps ensure consistent sealing performance.

• Complete valve cover gasket components supplied in one package.
• Eliminates the need to source individual seals or slices during installation.
• Parts are selected to match repair requirements for targeted models.

Are these gaskets tested for real-world performance?

Yes — Fel-Pro validates parts on-vehicle to check that the materials and shapes perform under typical operating conditions. That testing helps confirm the set will meet expectations in everyday driving rather than only passing bench tests.

• On-vehicle validation to confirm sealing under load and temperature cycles.
• Manufacturing tolerances tuned for repair scenarios, not just OEM spec reproduction.
• Field-oriented design to address common sources of valve cover seepage.

Who this is for: professional mechanics, DIY enthusiasts and anyone performing maintenance on compatible early-2000s Honda Civic or Acura EL engines who want a single, vehicle-specific valve cover gasket package. If you need a repair-focused gasket set that adapts to worn sealing faces and includes needed components, the Fel-Pro VS 50606 R is intended to simplify the job and help restore a reliable seal. Always confirm fitment with your vehicle details before ordering and follow torque and installation guidance for best results.
