Fel-Pro valve cover gasket set for Hyundai Elantra (2011–2016) — cork-rubber complete kit, restores oil seal

Fel-Pro VS 50824 R is a complete engine valve cover gasket set engineered to restore a reliable oil seal for Hyundai Elantra and compatible Kia models.

If your engine shows oil seepage around the valve covers or you are performing routine maintenance, this Fel-Pro gasket set supplies the parts and materials designed for a workshop repair environment. Fel-Pro builds these gaskets with a cork-rubber compound and application-specific designs so they conform to imperfect sealing surfaces while resisting common engine fluids and heat cycling.

Which vehicles and model years does this gasket set fit?

This VS 50824 R kit covers a range of Hyundai and Kia vehicles that use the same valve cover configuration. Always cross-check your VIN or engine code before ordering to ensure fitment.

• Compatible with 2011–2016 Hyundai Elantra (including Coupe and GT variants where noted)
• Fits 2012–2013 Kia Soul and 2014–2016 Kia Forte
• Includes the parts typically required for valve cover replacement unless otherwise specified

How does the Fel-Pro design handle imperfect sealing surfaces?

Fel-Pro gaskets use a conformable cork-rubber formulation that compresses to fill small surface irregularities without extruding or tearing. That flexibility helps create a reliable seal even when mating surfaces show light wear or finish variations.

• Cork-rubber composition for elasticity and compression recovery
• Profiles shaped to match OEM cover and head sealing areas
• Durability against oil and moderate heat cycling found in everyday driving

What parts and performance can I expect from this gasket set?

The set contains all routinely required components for a valve cover service, simplifying repairs by reducing the need to source individual pieces. Fel-Pro evaluates parts on-vehicle during development to confirm fit and real-world durability.

• Complete gasket pieces sized to the valve cover and mating surface
• Materials selected to resist common engine fluids and maintain seal under vibration
• Tested on-vehicle to validate sealing performance before release

Will installing this set reduce future oil leaks?

Replacing worn or damaged valve cover gaskets with a correctly fitted Fel-Pro set helps stop existing leaks and lowers the chance of immediate recurrence when installed properly. Proper torqueing of cover fasteners and clean mating surfaces are essential for best results.

• Improves sealing when old, compressed gaskets are removed
• Works best with cleaned sealing surfaces and correct fastener torque
• Not a repair for underlying mechanical damage—address warped covers or damaged bolt holes first
