FENNICA Enet OBD2 Cable is a 6.5ft Ethernet-to-OBDII data link with a USB-C adapter designed to connect BMW F, G and many I‑series cars to coding and diagnostics software.
This ENET cable bundle provides the physical bridge between a laptop and BMW vehicles that expose an Ethernet-based diagnostics port. It does not include coding software — you must install compatible programs such as E‑SYS, ISTA, ICOM or third‑party apps to read, code or program modules. Built from shielded CAT5e cabling with gold‑plated contacts and a secure 16‑pin OBDII connector, the cable aims to deliver stable data transfer during module access and coding sessions.
Connect the RJ45 end of the ENET cable to your car’s ENET port and plug the OBDII connector into the vehicle’s diagnostic socket. Attach the included USB‑C adapter to your laptop, install your chosen BMW software, then configure the network interface to recognize the ENET link. Successful coding depends on matching the correct software version and settings for your vehicle.
The cable is primarily intended for F‑series and many newer G‑series BMWs, and supports a range of 1, 3, 5, 7, GT and X‑series models from roughly 2010 onwards. Compatibility varies by model year and the vehicle’s onboard interface; the cable is a data conduit and does not guarantee software compatibility or programming success. Confirm your vehicle’s ENET support and software requirements before attempting advanced tasks.
This ENET to OBDII cable is compatible with a wide selection of BMW diagnostic and coding tools such as E‑SYS, ISTA, ICOM, INPA and third‑party apps like BimmerCode or Bootmod3 for certain functions. It enables module reading, coding and parameter adjustments when paired with proper software, but it does not provide power or replace professional tools for firmware flashing unless supported by the chosen program.
The cable is constructed from CAT5e materials with pure copper conductors, gold‑plated connectors and shielded wiring to reduce interference during data transfers. Its flexible 2m length gives reach inside garages while the robust OBDII housing minimizes connector wear. FENNICA also offers customer support to help troubleshoot setup or compatibility questions.
Who is this for: This cable is aimed at BMW enthusiasts, independent technicians and advanced DIYers who want a reliable physical link for coding, module access and diagnostics on compatible F, G and select I‑series vehicles. If you plan to perform coding or programming, ensure you have the appropriate software and knowledge — the FENNICA ENET cable supplies the connection but not the applications or guaranteed outcomes.
Q: Does this cable include coding software?
A: No. The FENNICA ENET cable is a data link only — you must install compatible BMW coding software separately.
Q: Will this work with my F‑series BMW?
A: Often yes for many F‑series models from 2010 onward, but confirm your specific model supports ENET before purchase.
