Flame King 5LB Propane Tank Mounting Bracket — Steel Frame, Stainless Strap with Rubber Padding for RVs & Trailers

Flame King T-Racks® 5LB bracket is a steel mounting strap designed to hold a Flame King 5LB propane cylinder securely in place on RVs, trailers, campervans, jeeps and other vehicles.

This compact mounting bracket keeps a 5-pound steel propane tank from rolling, tipping or shifting while you travel. Built specifically for the Flame King 5LB steel cylinder, the unit combines a sturdy steel frame with a stainless strap that includes rubber padding to protect the tank’s finish. It’s a straightforward way to add a dedicated, low-profile propane mount to a variety of vehicles and outdoor rigs; note that vehicle mounting hardware is not included.

How does this bracket protect a 5LB propane cylinder during travel?

The T-Racks bracket surrounds the 5LB tank and secures it with a stainless steel strap that prevents lateral or vertical movement. The rubber lining cushions the tank to minimize scratches and vibration, while the steel frame resists deformation on bumpy roads.

• Steel frame holds shape under load and impact.
• Stainless strap tightens around the tank for a snug fit.
• Rubber padding reduces metal-on-metal contact and vibration.
• Designed specifically for Flame King 5LB steel cylinders for exact fit.

What vehicles and setups is this mounting bracket compatible with?

The bracket is suitable for a range of vehicles and outdoor platforms where a compact 5LB cylinder is needed: RVs, campervans, trailers, jeeps, trucks, boats and overland rigs. It mounts to flat surfaces or racks, but you will need appropriate hardware and fasteners chosen for your vehicle’s material.

• Works on metal or wood mounting points with correct fasteners.
• Low-profile 8.125" W x 9.45" H fits tight spaces and compartments.
• Common for tailgates, interior cargo areas, or external racks.
• Not universal — compatible only with Flame King 5LB steel tanks.

How easy is installation and what should I prepare?

Installation is straightforward but requires you to select and supply mounting hardware suitable for the mounting surface. The bracket itself is ready to accept the Flame King 5LB tank; you’ll fasten the bracket to your vehicle and then secure the tank with the stainless strap and rubber-lined clamp.

• Bracket arrives ready to mount; hardware is not included.
• Choose bolts or screws sized to your vehicle’s panel thickness.
• Use corrosion-resistant fasteners for outdoor exposure.
• Verify clearance for valve access before final placement.

What are the bracket’s materials and dimensions?

The T-Racks mount is built from a high-quality steel frame paired with a stainless steel strap that’s lined with rubber. Its compact footprint minimizes intrusion while providing reliable containment for the specified cylinder size.

• Materials: steel frame, stainless steel strap, rubber lining.
• Dimensions: 8.125" wide by 9.45" high.
• Compatible only with Flame King 5LB steel propane tanks.
• Designed for exterior or interior vehicle use with proper hardware.

Who this is for: The Flame King T-Racks 5LB bracket is for campers, overlanders, boat owners and vehicle upfitters who need a secure, low-profile method to carry a single 5LB Flame King steel propane cylinder. Choose this bracket if you want a purpose-made mount with vibration protection and a precise fit for the Flame King 5LB tank; if you use a different tank brand or size, select a bracket matched to that cylinder instead.
