FROGG TOGGS Men's Ultra-Lite2 Waterproof Breathable Rain Jacket — Khaki, Medium, Packable Lightweight Protection

The FROGG TOGGS Men's Ultra-Lite2 is a packable, waterproof, breathable rain jacket designed for lightweight protection and easy storage.

Built from FROGG TOGGS' signature non-woven polypropylene fabric, the Ultra-Lite2 balances water resistance with featherweight portability. It tucks into an included stuff sack, has an adjustable hood and storm flap, and focuses on straightforward weather defense for outdoor activities where minimal bulk and reliable coverage matter.

How well does it keep you dry in light to moderate rain?

This jacket uses a waterproof, wind-resistant polypropylene fabric to block rain while allowing some breathability, best suited for showers and everyday outdoor use. It resists water penetration at the fabric level and adds extra protection with design features that limit entry points.

• Waterproof non-woven polypropylene material
• Full front zipper with a snap-down storm flap to seal the front
• Adjustable hood with cord locks to keep head dry
• Elastic cuffs to reduce sleeve entry points for moisture

Is the jacket comfortable and easy to carry?

The Ultra-Lite2 emphasizes low weight and a relaxed fit so it layers easily over clothing without feeling bulky. It compresses into a compact stuff sack included with purchase, making it convenient for backpacks, glove boxes, or emergency kits.

• Extremely lightweight fabric for minimal carry weight
• Relaxed cut fits over layers comfortably
• Includes a free stuff sack for compact storage and transport
• Suits hikers, commuters, and travel use where space is limited

What practical features does it have for active use?

Designed for easy, functional wear, the jacket focuses on essential weather protection without extra complexity. Simple adjustments and closures help it perform during quick outings, sideline events, and other active scenarios.

• Adjustable hood with cord locks for a secure fit in wind
• Full zipper plus snap-down storm flap for added protection
• Elastic cuffs for a better sleeve seal and improved fit
• Wind-resistant fabric that helps keep body heat in cooler conditions

How durable and affordable is this rain layer?

FROGG TOGGS focuses on cost-effective, functional rainwear, and the Ultra-Lite2 follows that approach with durable polypropylene construction for routine use. It’s intended as a reliable, value-oriented option rather than a heavy-duty mountaineering shell.

• Polypropylene material offers dependable, budget-friendly waterproofing
• Constructed for everyday outdoor activities and occasional heavy use
• Since 1996, the brand has prioritized practical, affordable rain gear
• Not designed for prolonged exposure in extreme conditions
