GDUKOP Engine Water Pump & Thermostat Assembly for EA888 – 06K121111P with Gaskets, Direct-Fit

GDUKOP's 06K121111P is a combined water pump and thermostat housing assembly with gaskets engineered to restore proper coolant flow and temperature control on EA888-engine VW models.

This all-in-one cooling assembly replaces the separate thermostat and water pump components with a single, integrated unit designed for EA888 engines found in many Volkswagen Beetle, Jetta, and Passat models. It ships with the required gaskets and matches several OEM part numbers, offering a direct-fit replacement to address leaks, overheating symptoms, and inconsistent temperature readings. The text below explains fitment, construction, benefits, and installation considerations so you can decide if this assembly suits your vehicle and maintenance needs.

How does this assembly improve engine cooling and temperature control?

The integrated design combines the thermostat and water pump into one housing to streamline coolant routing and reduce potential leak points. A properly operating thermostat and pump maintain stable coolant circulation, which helps the engine run within its intended temperature range and reduces stress on related components.

• Integrated thermostat housing and pump for simplified coolant flow
• Reduces joints and seals compared with separate components
• Improves circulation consistency to help stabilize temperature gauge readings

Which VW models and part numbers is this compatible with?

This assembly is made for vehicles using Volkswagen's EA888 engines. It lists multiple OEM replacement numbers to help you confirm fitment before purchase; always verify your VIN or existing part numbers to ensure compatibility with your specific model year and engine variant.

• Common fitment: Beetle and Jetta 1.8L/2.0L (2013–2018 ranges), Passat 1.8L (2014–2017)
• Referenced part numbers: 06K121111P / 06K121111H / 06K121111M / 06K121111N
• Water pump references included for cross-checking: 06L121012L, 06K121011C/D

What materials and build features contribute to long-term reliability?

This assembly is constructed from composite and aluminum materials selected to withstand heat, vibration, and chemical exposure in the engine bay. Reinforced sealing surfaces and upgraded gaskets are supplied to reduce the risk of coolant seepage and premature failure compared with worn original parts.

• Composite housing sections to resist corrosion and cracking
• Aluminum components where strength and thermal transfer are needed
• Enhanced sealing points and included gaskets for a secure fit

What should I know about installation and symptoms that indicate replacement?

Installation typically requires draining coolant, removing the old housing/pump, and swapping in this assembly with the included gaskets; follow factory torque specs and refill the cooling system properly. Replace the unit if you notice coolant leaks at the housing, fluctuating temperature readings, reduced heater or A/C performance, or audible bearing noise from the water pump area.

• Includes gaskets for a complete seal during replacement
• Expect routine coolant refill and proper system bleed after install
• Recommended inspection of belts, hoses, and thermostat connections during service

Who is this for: This GDUKOP 06K121111P assembly is intended for DIY mechanics, independent shops, and fleet maintainers who need a direct-fit replacement for EA888-equipped Volkswagen models. It suits owners dealing with coolant leaks, overheating symptoms, or old components nearing end-of-life who want a consolidated, OEM-referenced solution with upgraded sealing and durable materials.
