Generic RV Door Window Shade 25x16 Foldable Camper Sunshade with Magnets, 5-Layer Blackout & Reflective Insulation

This foldable 25 x 16-inch RV door window shade uses a five-layer blackout and reflective construction plus edge magnets to block light, raise privacy, and reduce interior heat in camper doors and skylights.

Designed for travel trailers and motorhomes, this Generic RV door window shade combines a heavy-duty waterproof Oxford exterior, a reflective silver layer, and diamond-embossed reinforcement to deliver strong light control and thermal insulation. The cover installs without drilling using included adhesive hook-and-loop strips and stays put with ten embedded magnets, so you can tailor light levels from full view to total blackout quickly while protecting your RV’s original surfaces.

How well does it keep sunlight and heat out?

The multi-layer build blocks visible light and reflects solar heat, helping interiors stay dimmer and cooler. It’s not a climate-control device, but the reflective and insulating layers reduce direct sun gain and lower A/C workload.

• Five-layer composite: waterproof Oxford layer, reflective silver layer, and reinforced core for blackout.
• Diamond-embossed texture preserves shape and resilience across seasons.
• Reduces glare and direct solar heating on the cabin side of the window.

Will it fit my RV door window and how do I install it?

The shade measures 25 x 16 inches and fits most camper door windows and small bathroom skylights, but measure first to ensure the window is slightly smaller than the shade. Installation requires no drilling; adhesive hook-and-loop strips provided attach to the frame while embedded edge magnets hold the shade flat against metal surfaces.

• Universal 25 x 16 in size suitable for many door windows and skylights.
• No-drill attachment with supplied adhesive hook-and-loop strips to protect finishes.
• Ten strong magnets allow partial or full coverage and easy repositioning.

Can it deliver privacy at busy campsites and overnight stops?

Yes—when fully closed the dense layers create an opaque barrier that blocks sightlines and minimizes light leaks common with thin curtains. The magnetized edges seal to metal frames and reduce gaps that might otherwise reveal interior shapes or movements.

• Complete blackout option for changing, sleeping, or secure privacy.
• Magnetized perimeter reduces seam light leaks compared with traditional curtains.
• Works well at well-lit parking lots and crowded campgrounds for added discretion.

How durable and travel-ready is the shade?

Constructed with heavy-duty materials and diamond-embossed reinforcement, the cover resists creasing and retains shape through repeated folds and seasons. Embedded magnets are built to stay in place under normal road vibration; the waterproof outer layer protects against moisture in wet conditions.

• Oxford fabric exterior is waterproof and abrasion-resistant for long-term use.
• Diamond-embossed panel resists permanent creases when folded for storage.
• Magnets remain secure against bumps and normal driving vibrations.

Who this is for: this RV door window shade fits owners and renters of travel trailers, fifth wheels, and class C or B motorhomes who want quick, damage-free privacy and improved temperature control at a reasonable price. It’s ideal for overnight travelers, families who need dark sleeping spaces, boondockers limiting A/C usage, and anyone wanting a portable, easy-to-fit window solution without modifying the camper door frame.
