Goopool Bed Step for Tacoma 2012–2023 — Folding Truck Step, Corrosion-Resistant

Goopool Bed Step is a heavy-duty, retractable tailgate step engineered to replace part PT392-35100 and provide a safer, easier way to climb into 2012–2023 Tacoma beds with a factory tow package.

Designed to match or exceed OEM standards, this single-piece bed step installs at the bumper and folds neatly out of the way when not in use. Built from reinforced, corrosion-resistant materials with a textured, high-impact tread pad, it helps you access the truck bed with more confidence and less strain. The unit is sold as one piece and is intended for Tacoma models listed below that have the factory tow package.

Will this bed step fit my Tacoma model years?

The Goopool folding bed step is specified for Toyota Tacoma model years 2012 through 2023 that are equipped with the factory tow package. It replaces OEM part number PT392-35100 and was developed to align with the bumper and mounting locations used across these model years.

• Compatible years: 2012–2023 Tacoma
• Requires factory tow package mounting points
• Direct replacement for part PT392-35100

How durable and weather-resistant is this replacement step?

Materials were chosen to withstand everyday use and exposure to the elements without rapid wear. The step assembly uses reinforced components and a corrosion-resistant finish, while the non-slip tread pad retains grip when wet or dirty.

• Reinforced structural parts for long service life
• Corrosion-resistant surfaces to resist rust
• High-impact, textured pad for a secure foothold

How easy is installation and what comes in the box?

Installation is designed to follow the factory mounting positions; most of the work is aligning and securing the assembled arm to the frame. The product ships as one bed step unit and replaces the original OEM step—some users prefer basic hand tools and a second person for alignment during final bolting.

• Includes: 1x Goopool bed step (single-piece assembly)
• Mounts to existing bumper/tow-package holes—no cutting required
• Basic hand tools recommended; alignment assistance helpful

What safety features does the step offer while in use?

The step is engineered to provide a stable foothold when extended and to stow flush with the bumper when retracted. A textured, impact-resistant pad reduces slip risk and gives a reliable surface for footing while entering or exiting the bed.

• Non-slip tread pad for improved traction
• Stable arm geometry to support steady weight distribution
• Retracts fully into bumper profile for safe road clearance

Who is this for: This Goopool replacement bed step is aimed at Tacoma owners (2012–2023) who have the factory tow package and want an OEM-fit, rugged stepping solution. It's ideal for people who frequently load and unload cargo, work from the truck bed, or simply want safer, easier access to their bed without replacing the bumper.
