Gorilla Automotive Telescoping Power Wrench 21" Extendable Lug Wrench — Collapsible 14" Storage, Hardened-Steel with 17/19/21/23mm

The Gorilla Automotive 1721 Telescoping Power Wrench is a compact, extendable lug wrench that delivers up to 21 inches of leverage and comes with sockets to fit common OEM lug nuts.

Designed as a rugged, easy-to-store upgrade from the typical scissor or cross wrenches, this tool combines hardened-steel construction with a telescoping handle so you can break loose stubborn lug nuts without needing power tools. It compresses down for convenient storage and includes multiple standard sockets so it fits most passenger vehicle wheel lugs right out of the polybag it ships in.

How much extra leverage does the telescoping handle provide?

Extending the handle increases torque, letting you apply more force with less exertion. The 1721 stretches to 21 inches when extended and collapses to 14 inches for storage, giving you a balance of power and portability.

• Extended length: 21 inches for maximum leverage
• Collapsed length: 14 inches for compact storage
• Telescoping mechanism for quick adjustment

Which socket sizes are included and which vehicles will they fit?

The wrench ships with dual-sided sockets that cover the most common factory lug nut sizes so you can use it on a wide range of cars and light trucks. Included sizes are 17mm, 19mm (3/4"), 21mm (13/16"), and 23mm (7/8"), accommodating the majority of original-equipment lug nuts.

• 17mm — common on many Asian and European compacts
• 19mm (3/4") — widespread on North American passenger cars
• 21mm (13/16") — fits numerous SUVs and light trucks
• 23mm (7/8") — covers larger lug patterns and some aftermarket nuts

Is the tool durable enough for roadside use and long-term storage?

Built from heat-treated, hardened steel with precision construction, this wrench is intended to survive regular use and the stresses of loosening tightly torqued lug nuts. The included polybag protects the tool and sockets when stored in a trunk or tool kit.

• Hardened steel construction for strength and wear resistance
• Precision fitting sockets reduce rounding of lug nuts
• Polybag included for tidy, protected storage

How does this wrench compare to a standard lug wrench during a tire change?

The telescoping handle gives a clear mechanical advantage over shorter, fixed-length lug wrenches, making initial loosening and later tightening easier and quicker. Because it includes the common socket sizes, you avoid swapping tools or adapters during a roadside tire change.

• Greater leverage means less physical strain when breaking loose nuts
• Multiple sockets remove the need for extra adapters
• Collapsible design saves trunk space compared with full-length bars

Who is this for: The Gorilla Automotive 1721 is aimed at drivers who want a reliable, stronger alternative to factory lug tools—commuters, weekend drivers, and roadside DIYers who prefer manual solutions over powered impact wrenches. It's also a good fit for fleet vehicles, service vans, and anyone who needs a durable, space-saving lug wrench with a broad range of socket sizes for everyday use.
