Granatan Washer Shift Actuator W11481722/W10913953 49TYZ-E120A1 – Direct Replacement, 6‑Pin Connector

Granatan W11481722 W10913953 49TYZ-E120A1 washer shift actuator is a direct-replacement actuator designed to restore agitate-to-spin shifting in compatible top-load washing machines.

If your top-load washer stalls between agitate and spin, makes clicking noises during cycle changes, or leaves clothes wet at the end of a cycle, the shift actuator is a common part to inspect. This Granatan actuator is built to match the electrical, mechanical, and connector specifications of many common OEM parts (including W11481722, W10913953 and 49TYZ-E120A1) so it can be used as a compatible replacement during diagnostics and repair.

What does this actuator replace and which models will it fit?

This unit is engineered as a compatible substitute for several OEM part numbers and suits many select top-load washers that accept the same connector and physical mounting. Always cross-check your washer’s required part number before ordering to confirm compatibility.

• Direct part-number matches: W11481722, W10913953, 49TYZ-E120A1
• Also compatible as a replacement for: W10597177, W10815026, W10913953VP
• Not compatible with washers requiring W10006355 or WPW10006355

How does the Granatan actuator perform electrically and mechanically?

The actuator uses a low-power synchronous motor and a 6-pin 3 × 2 connector to drive the shift between agitate and spin. Its materials and size mirror OEM dimensions so it mounts and connects like the factory component.

• Electrical rating: 120 V AC, 60 Hz, 4 W, 30 mA
• Motor speed and direction: 3 RPM clockwise synchronous motor
• Connector: 6-pin, 3 × 2 configuration for direct plug-in where compatible
• Physical size and weight: 4.33 × 3.15 × 2.13 inches; 5.3 oz; nylon components

What symptoms might indicate this part needs replacement?

Typical signs include failure to switch from agitate to spin, repeated clicking during cycle changes, or consistently wet clothes at cycle end. These symptoms can also be caused by other components, so confirm the diagnosis before replacing parts.

• No-spin or no-agitate cycles that coincide with shift attempts
• Audible clicking or grinding when the machine tries to change modes
• Partial cycles or machines that stall mid-cycle

Installation notes: the package contains one Granatan washer shift actuator and a printed installation guide. Tools and replacement fasteners are not included. Because washer designs vary, follow the service instructions specific to your model and consult a qualified appliance technician when the diagnosis or repair steps are unclear.

Who is this for: this actuator is for do-it-yourselfers, independent appliance technicians, and repair shops who need an OEM-compatible replacement for top-load washers that require W11481722, W10913953, or 49TYZ-E120A1. If you have confirmed the shift actuator as the likely cause of your washer’s shifting or spinning issues and your model accepts a 6-pin 3 × 2 connector, this Granatan unit provides a like-for-like electrical and dimensional match to restore proper agitate-to-spin function.
