GREASE MONKEY mechanic work gloves — Bones Xtreme Black Out, XLarge, impact protection & touchscreen

These are GREASE MONKEY Bones Xtreme Black Out mechanic gloves in XLarge — built to protect hands while keeping fingertip dexterity for automotive, industrial, and hobby tasks. GREASE MONKEY’s Bones series combines impact-resistant protection with a slim, athletic fit so you can handle fasteners, tools, and touchscreen devices without removing your gloves. The XLarge pair in the Black Out colorway uses reinforced materials at high-wear points, an adjustable wrist strap for a secure fit, and breathable construction to keep hands comfortable during long shifts.

How do these gloves protect my hands without reducing control?

The Bones Xtreme design places protective padding and reinforcement only where it’s needed, preserving a close, athletic fit across the fingers and palm. That approach reduces bulk so you can still feel tools and small parts.

• Strategic impact padding at knuckles and back-of-hand for blunt-force resistance
• Reinforced palm and finger wear points for longer life
• Slim profile that maintains tactile sensitivity for precision tasks

Will these gloves hold up to everyday shop work and washing?

They’re constructed with durable fabrics and reinforced stitching at common failure areas to withstand repeated use. GREASE MONKEY designed the Bones Xtreme gloves to be machine washable, making cleanup straightforward after greasy or dirty jobs.

• High-strength reinforcement on palms and fingertips for abrasion resistance
• Machine-washable materials that dry quickly
• Adjustable wrist strap secures fit and lowers wear at the cuff

Can I use these gloves with a smartphone or tablet?

Yes — the gloves include touchscreen-compatible fingertip material so you can operate phones or diagnostic tablets without taking them off. That feature saves time and keeps hands protected while you reference schematics or communicate with coworkers.

• Conductive fingertip patches for reliable touchscreen use
• Maintains grip and control even when interacting with devices
• Works with capacitive screens found on most modern devices

How do I choose the right fit and care for long life?

GREASE MONKEY offers these gloves in an XLarge size with a snug, athletic cut; measure across the widest part of your hand to confirm fit. For longevity, close the wrist strap before washing and avoid high-heat drying to protect reinforcement points.

• Measure hand width for accurate sizing; athletic cut fits close to skin
• Fasten wrist strap during laundering to reduce snagging
• Avoid tumble-drying on high heat to preserve elasticity and reinforcements

Who is this for: The GREASE MONKEY Bones Xtreme Black Out XLarge gloves are aimed at professional mechanics, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone who needs robust hand protection without sacrificing dexterity — ideal for automotive repair, light fabrication, maintenance, and outdoor projects where grip, impact resistance, and touchscreen use matter.
