GREASECO General Purpose Lithium Grease Cartridges, 10-Pack Amber NLGI 2 — Water‑Resistant, Anti‑Wear

GREASECO GenPurpose is a multi-purpose NLGI 2 lithium-based grease in 10 easy-to-use cartridges, formulated to provide reliable lubrication and water resistance for bearings, joints, door tracks, mowers and general workshop equipment.

These amber GenPurpose cartridges come in a 10-pack sized for standard grease guns and everyday maintenance tasks. The product uses an ISO 160 base oil and lithium soap thickener to balance pumpability, film strength and temperature tolerance for light- to moderate-duty applications. It resists washout and includes anti-wear and oxidation inhibitors to extend component life and reduce maintenance frequency.

How will this grease perform on bearings and moving joints?

GenPurpose is designed as a general-use lubricant suited to wheel bearings, CV joints, ball bearings and hinge pivots under normal operating loads. Its anti-wear package helps reduce metal-to-metal contact while the base oil viscosity supports a stable lubricating film at moderate speeds and temperatures.

• ISO 160 base oil for balanced viscosity and film formation
• Anti-wear additives to limit surface damage
• NLGI 2 consistency for pumpability through most grease guns
• Works on bearings, joints, shafts and pivots in everyday equipment

Is this grease suitable for outdoor or damp environments?

The formula resists water washout to maintain lubrication when exposed to moisture, making it appropriate for garage doors, mower spindles and lightly wet service conditions. It provides corrosion protection to slow rust formation on metal parts that face occasional water exposure.

• Water-resistant formulation reduces washout from spray or splash
• Corrosion inhibitors protect metal surfaces
• Good choice for door tracks, lawn equipment and agricultural use
• Not intended for continuous immersion service

How easy is it to use these cartridges with a grease gun?

Cartridges are sized for standard manual and lever grease guns, enabling quick replacement and less mess than tubbed grease. The NLGI 2 grade balances stiffness and flow so the grease dispenses smoothly through fittings and central lubrication points.

• Standard 10-pack cartridges fit common grease guns
• NLGI 2 consistency ensures reliable pumpability
• Amber color helps visually confirm coverage during application
• Ideal for routine service intervals and fleet maintenance

What limitations should I be aware of?

GreaseCo GenPurpose is engineered for general and light-to-moderate-duty tasks rather than extreme high-load or high-temperature specialty uses. For heavy industrial presses, continuous high-temperature bearings or food-grade applications, choose a product formulated specifically for those conditions.

• Best for light to moderate loads and temperatures
• Not a replacement for specialized high-temp or food-grade greases
• Avoid use in continuously submerged fittings or extreme pressure environments
• Consult equipment specs for compatibility with existing greases

Who is this for? GREASECO GenPurpose 10-pack cartridges are aimed at mechanics, landscapers, farmers, fleet managers and homeowners who need a dependable, easy-to-use lithium grease for routine maintenance. If you service lawnmowers, trailers, door tracks, small motors, bearings and general workshop equipment and want a water-resistant, pumpable NLGI 2 grease for everyday tasks, this product delivers practical protection and straightforward application without the complexity of specialized lubricants.
