Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax Spray for Cars & Trucks, 22 oz — SiO2 Hydrophobic Protection and High Gloss

Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is a sprayable SiO2 hybrid that delivers durable hydrophobic protection and a high-gloss finish on paint, wheels, trim, and chrome.

Made in the USA, this 22 oz Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax combines SiO2, ultra-hydrophobic polymers, and carnauba in a water-based spray to give vehicles long-lasting shine and water beading. It’s engineered to be simple to apply—spray on, wipe off—and safe for multiple exterior surfaces including painted panels, plastic trim, rubber, wheels, and chrome. Use it as a daily protection step, a maintenance boost after a detailing session, or as a supplemental layer over a high-solids ceramic coating.

How does this spray wax protect vehicle surfaces?

The formula forms a thin SiO2-rich layer that repels water and reduces adhesion of dirt and contaminants. That slick barrier helps slow oxidation and fading from UV exposure, while making routine cleaning easier.

• SiO2 polymers create durable hydrophobic surface tension.
• Carnauba adds deep, reflective gloss for visual depth.
• Water-based carrier promotes even, streak-free application.

How simple is the application for everyday use?

Application is designed for speed and consistency—spray the product onto a clean surface and wipe it off with a microfiber towel for an instant shine. No buffing machines required, so it’s practical for quick touch-ups or full-vehicle maintenance sessions.

• Spray-on, wipe-off workflow for one-person use.
• Works on warm or cool panels; avoid direct midday sun for best results.
• Leaves minimal residue when removed with a clean microfiber towel.

Can I use it on wheels, plastic trim, and chrome as well as paint?

Yes—this hybrid spray was formulated to be cross-compatible with most exterior surfaces, offering both protection and enhanced appearance. It bonds to metal, painted finishes, plastics, and rubber to deliver consistent water beading and easier cleaning across components.

• Safe on clearcoat and single-stage paints with proper testing.
• Enhances wheel shine while resisting brake dust adhesion.
• Improves color depth and water repellency on plastic and rubber trim.

How long does the protection typically last and how should I maintain it?

Longevity depends on exposure and washing frequency, but the SiO2-enriched formula delivers protection that outperforms traditional waxes. Reapply after washing or as needed to refresh hydrophobic performance and gloss.

• Resists rain and road grime better than basic carnauba-only waxes.
• Reapply every few washes or monthly for vehicles in heavy use.
• Compatible as a maintenance boost over professional ceramic coatings.

Who is this for: Car owners, detailers, and outdoor vehicle enthusiasts who want a fast, reliable way to add SiO2-style hydrophobic protection and mirror-like gloss without specialized tools. Ideal for daily drivers, trucks, RVs, boats, ATVs/UTVs, and anyone seeking easier cleaning and stronger bead performance across paint, wheels, trim, and chrome.
