Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner Spray for Cars & Boats — 35 fl oz, Multi-Surface No-Residue Formula

Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner Spray is an all-purpose, no-residue formula that safely lifts dirt and grime from carpets, upholstery, vinyl, and dashboards across cars, trucks, RVs, and boats.

Made and bottled in the USA, this 35 fl oz interior detailing spray was formulated to be a reliable, multi-surface solution for routine maintenance and deeper cleanups alike. It targets embedded dust and everyday soils without leaving sticky residues that attract new dirt, so surfaces look and feel cleaner longer. The balanced formula is dye-free and designed to be safe on fabrics, vinyl, headliners, mats, and hard surfaces commonly found inside vehicles and marine cabins.

How does this cleaner handle fabric seats and carpets?

The spray penetrates fabric and carpet fibers to loosen dirt and stains for quick removal with a brush or microfiber towel. It won’t leave a sticky layer behind, making post-cleaning touch-ups easier and reducing rapid re-soiling.

• Works on woven and looped seat fabrics and automotive carpet
• Lifts ground-in dust for easier extraction or wiping
• Rinseless application for most spot-cleaning tasks
• Dye-free formula reduces risk of discoloration

Is it safe to use on vinyl, dash panels, and door trim?

Yes — the product was created to clean smooth and textured vinyl, plastic dash components, and door panels without causing tackiness or dulling. It leaves surfaces ready for a protectant if desired, but does not itself create a greasy finish.

• Removes fingerprints, dust, and light soils from trim and consoles
• No sticky residue that attracts more dirt
• Compatible with textured and smooth vinyl finishes
• Prepares surfaces for optional protectant application

Can it be used outside the car, like on boats or home upholstery?

The cleaner’s versatility extends beyond automotive use — it can refresh marine interiors, home upholstery, and other fabric or vinyl surfaces. Because it’s formulated for multiple substrates, it’s a handy all-purpose spray for both the garage and household tasks.

• Effective on boat vinyl and cabin fabrics to remove grime
• Safe for furniture, shoes, bags, and rugs in spot-cleaning roles
• Ideal for seasonal cleanups and quick touch-ups around the home
• Portable 35 oz bottle fits into detailing kits and storage areas

What should I expect during application and clean-up?

Application is straightforward: spray onto the target area, agitate gently if necessary, and wipe or blot with a microfiber towel. For heavier soiling, allow a short dwell time and repeat the process; no harsh scrubbing is required in most cases.

• Designed for hand application with towels, brushes, or sponges
• Short contact time for most stains and soils
• Leaves surfaces ready for immediate use—no long drying waits
• Compatible with follow-up protectants or conditioners
