Designed for spontaneous trips, fishing breaks, festival downtime, and overland adventures, this compact tailgate tent expands your vehicle's usable area without heavy gear. Constructed from durable 210T polyester with a reflective coating, it balances weather resistance and breathable ventilation while packing down small for easy transport.

How quickly can I set it up when I arrive?

Expect an uncomplicated, roughly two-minute assembly that doesn’t require poles or complicated rigging. The lightweight design and simple sleeve-and-strap attachment make it ideal for single-person setups.

• Estimated setup time: about 120 seconds.
• Weighs approximately 3.5–3.6 lbs for easy handling.
• Sleeve and strap system attaches to rear wheels or bumper—no special tools.
• Packs into a compact carry bag for quick storage in your trunk.

Will it protect from rain and sun on the road?

The canopy material is treated to resist water and reflect sunlight, providing solid shelter for short-term outdoor use. It offers both shade and a reliable splash barrier so you can stay dry during light to moderate showers and cool under strong sun.

• Fabric: 210T polyester with silver coating for UV reflection.
• Water resistance: rated to approximately 3000mm.
• Sun protection: blocks up to 98% of sunlight for cooler shade.
• Seams and design optimize runoff while keeping interior comfortable.

Does it fit my SUV, CUV, or hatchback?

The tent uses an adjustable sleeve plus straps so it adapts to a wide range of rear-end shapes and sizes. It’s designed for universal compatibility with most SUVs, compact crossovers, and hatchbacks, expanding your cargo and living area without permanent modification.

• Adjustable sleeve fits various tailgate shapes and heights.
• Strap anchors to rear wheels or bumper—no vehicle-specific hardware needed.
• Suitable for 2 people or extra storage space behind your vehicle.
• Compact footprint when packed; ideal for vehicles with limited cargo space.

How comfortable and private is the space inside?

High-density mesh panels keep air flowing while keeping insects and debris outside; zippered flaps convert the shelter into a private changing area. The interior provides usable shade and ventilation for resting, preparing gear, or changing clothes discreetly.

• Dual-sided zip flaps create a sealed, private changing room.
• High-density mesh for insect protection and continuous airflow.
• Approximately 110+ sq. ft. of shaded coverage depending on vehicle placement.
• Roomy enough for two people to sit, change, or stow equipment.

Who is this for? The HASIKA SUV Tailgate Tent is built for weekend explorers, anglers, festival-goers, and overlanders who want an easy-to-carry, fast-to-deploy shelter that turns a vehicle’s rear into a usable lounge or privacy zone.
