HDBUBALUS 1" Electronic Throttle Motorcycle Grips — Black Anodized Billet Aluminum, Anti-Slip Defiance Pattern

These HDBUBALUS 1" electronic throttle motorcycle grips are CNC-machined aluminum replacements that offer an anti-slip surface, corrosion-resistant finish, and a bold Defiance pattern for a fast, tool-free upgrade to compatible Harley models.

Upgrade your ride with grips engineered for durability and control. The HDBUBALUS throttle and clutch set are built from billet aluminum with a textured anti-skid profile and black anodized finish. They’re designed to slide onto 1" handlebars and mate directly with most stock electronic throttle tubes, giving a custom look and firmer feel without permanent modification.

Which motorcycles will these grips fit?

These grips are intended for a wide range of Harley-Davidson models across Softail, Touring, and selected CVO and Trike lineups. Fitment excludes some later model Touring variants with updated controls; always confirm your bike’s year and throttle type before ordering.

• Compatible with many 2016–2024 Softail models and select 2011–2017 CVO/FX variants.
• Works on Touring and Trike models from 2008–2025 with electronic throttle tubes (see exceptions).
• Not compatible with cable-throttle systems or certain 2018+ FLTRXSE, 2023+ FLHXSE and a few 2024 Touring variants.
• Designed for 1" internal diameter handlebars and standard OEM throttle tubes.

How do these grips improve handling and comfort?

The CNC-machined surface features crisp slots and textured channels that increase friction under gloved hands, helping reduce slippage in wet or aggressive riding. The aluminum core provides a solid connection to the handlebar for more direct throttle response compared with soft rubber grips.

• Anti-skid slot pattern improves grip during cornering and acceleration.
• Firm aluminum body enhances feedback and precise control inputs.
• Black anodized coating resists corrosion and maintains appearance.
• Comfort-oriented profile balances control with reduced hand fatigue.

Is installation difficult and will I need extra parts?

Installation is straightforward: these grips are made as direct replacements and slide onto standard 1" throttle and clutch assemblies. No cutting, gluing, or special adapters are required when used with compatible electronic throttle systems.

• Includes one throttle-side and one clutch-side grip for a complete set.
• No permanent modifications—slide on and tighten to existing controls.
• Check compatibility for cable-throttle bikes; they are not supported.
• Typical install time is minutes with basic hand tools.

What makes the Defiance Collection visually distinct?

The Defiance design blends aggressive lines and contrasting machined slots to create a pronounced custom aesthetic. The black anodized finish combined with precise milling gives a showroom-ready look that pairs well with performance and cafe-inspired builds.

• Unique Defiance pattern provides a standout, custom appearance.
• Precision CNC milling delivers consistent texture and symmetry.
• Matte black anodize resists wear while complementing dark trim.
• Designed to accent aggressive or performance-oriented motorcycles.

Who this is for: Riders who want a durable, performance-minded upgrade to their Harley’s controls—motorcyclists seeking better grip feel, a cleaner custom look, and a quick, reversible installation. Avoid these grips if your bike uses a mechanical cable throttle or non-standard 1" fittings; otherwise they’re an easy way to sharpen both style and control.
