HZ-MONSTAR BPV-31 Piercing Valve Kit 4-Pack — Compact Refrigeration Tap Valves with Hex Keys & 5 SAE Access Ports

HZ-MONSTAR BPV-31 Piercing Valve Kit is a compact 4-pack bullet-style refrigerator piercing valve set with included hex keys, plus five 1/4" SAE access/service valves for easy vacuuming, charging, and pressure checks.

This kit bundles four BPV-31 bullet piercing tap valve assemblies and five 1/4" SAE access valves to give HVAC and refrigeration technicians a ready-to-use selection of service ports. Every piercing valve kit includes a hex key and adapters so you can install in tight spaces with just two inches of clearance. All metal parts are corrosion-resistant and the access caps come with rubber O-rings and core removers, tested before shipping.

How do these piercing valves work for refrigerator or HVAC lines?

The BPV-31 piercing valves puncture tubing to create a sealed service port without removing sections of pipe. They thread and seat securely, allowing technicians to attach gauges, vacuums, or charging hoses quickly and reliably.

• Fits 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" outside diameter tubing with included adapters
• Requires only the supplied hex key for installation
• Compact design needs about 2" clearance to install
• Replaces common part numbers like AP4502525, BPV31D, GPV14, GPV31

What are the access/service valves used for and what are their specs?

The five included access valves are 1/4" SAE threaded ports with a 1/4" tube OD stem and thin-wall tubing compatibility for vacuuming, pressure testing, and charging. Each valve has a copper cap with an inside rubber O-ring and a removable core tool for service convenience.

• Thread x OD: 1/4" SAE x 1/4" O.D. stem
• Stem length ~4" with 0.027" tube thickness compatibility
• Comes with core remover and copper caps with O-rings
• Tested for fit and seal before shipping

Are these parts durable and easy to maintain?

Yes—components are machined from corrosion-resistant metal to resist wear and rust during normal HVAC use. The access caps are copper with rubber O-rings to maintain a tight seal, and replacement cores are removable so service life is extended through maintenance.

• Corrosion-resistant valve bodies for long service life
• Copper caps and rubber O-rings prevent leaks
• Core remover included to replace or clean valve cores
• Quality-tested before dispatch to ensure reliability
