JY PERFORMANCE Cradle Winch Mounting Plate 8,000–13,000 lb Capacity, Foldable 10 x 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern, 1/5 in Steel

JY PERFORMANCE’s cradle winch mounting plate is a heavy-duty, foldable steel bracket designed to secure 10" x 4-1/2" winches rated from 8,000 to 13,000 pounds to trucks, ATVs, trailers, and other 4x4 vehicles.

This mounting plate gives you a compact, robust platform for installing a self-recovery winch without the bulk of permanent bumper mounts. Built from thick 1/5" steel and finished in a black powder coat, it balances strength with corrosion resistance so you can carry a professional-grade winch setup into rough environments. The foldable design reduces storage space when the winch isn't in use, and the universal 10" x 4-1/2" bolt pattern matches most common winch footprints for straightforward compatibility.

Will this plate fit my winch and vehicle?

The plate is made for winches that use a standard 10" x 4-1/2" bolt pattern and supports winch line-pull ratings from 8,000 to 13,000 lbs. It works with a wide range of 4WD platforms including trucks, pickups, ATVs, and trailers.

• Designed to accept standard 10" x 4-1/2" winch bolt patterns
• Rated for winches within the 8,000–13,000 lb range
• Compatible with most 4x4 vehicles, pickups, trailers, and ATVs
• Check your winch manual for bolt spacing and clearance before purchase

How strong and weather-resistant is the mount?

Manufactured from 1/5" steel plate, the mount provides a substantial base to take winch loads during recovery tasks. A black powder-coated finish protects against moisture, dirt, and road debris to reduce rusting over time.

• Thick 1/5" steel construction for structural durability
• Black powder coat minimizes corrosion from moisture and debris
• Engineered to handle heavy loads typical of self-recovery scenarios
• Foldable joints maintain strength while allowing compact storage

How difficult is installation and what hardware is included?

The mount installs with a bolt-on approach and ships with the fasteners needed for a standard setup; in some installs you may need to drill additional holes or adapt to your vehicle frame. The winch itself is not part of the package, so you'll mount your existing winch to the plate.

• Supplied with standard mounting fasteners for a typical bolt-on fit
• May require drilling or minor modifications depending on vehicle frame
• Foldable design simplifies alignment and handling during installation
• Winch sold separately — confirm bolt pattern compatibility first

How does the foldable design benefit me in daily use?

The foldable feature helps save space when the winch isn't needed and makes transporting the assembly easier. When unfolded, it locks into place to provide the full support surface required during recovery tasks.

• Folds flat for compact storage and easier transport
• Unfolds and locks to deliver a stable mounting surface
• Reduces the need for permanent bumper or chassis mods in some cases
• Ideal for users who alternate between using and stowing a winch
