Description
xThese KarParts360 front bumper brackets are a direct-fit pair (driver and passenger) engineered to match the original mounting points for Scion xB models from 2008–2015.
If your Scion xB has a cracked, missing or warped front bumper bracket, replacing both sides with matching components restores alignment and support for the bumper cover. This pair fits the OEM part numbers 5253612100 and 5253512120 (Partslink SC1066103, SC1067103) and ships factory-sealed so you receive brand-new pieces ready for installation.
How will these brackets affect bumper fit and appearance?
Proper brackets hold the bumper cover at the correct height and angle, preventing gaps, sagging, or misalignment. Installing a matched set ensures both sides sit evenly and the fascia lines up with adjacent panels.
- Restores OEM mounting geometry for a factory look
- Reduces visible gaps and uneven panel fit
- Helps prevent vibration and rattles from loose bumper attachments
Are these brackets compatible with my Scion xB model year?
Yes—these brackets are manufactured to fit Scion xB vehicles from 2008 through 2015. Compatibility is based on the original equipment part numbers, so cross-checking your VIN or OEM part number confirms fitment.
- Direct replacement for OEM# 5253612100 and 5253512120
- Matches Partslink references SC1066103 and SC1067103
- Sold as a driver and passenger pair to ensure symmetry
What are the construction and safety considerations?
These brackets are molded plastic made to meet common automotive standards for fit and durability. While not structural crash components, quality brackets maintain proper bumper positioning which supports vehicle aesthetics and everyday protection.
- Molded plastic designed for direct OEM-style attachment points
- Manufactured to meet DOT/SAE compliance expectations
- Factory-sealed, new-in-box condition to ensure part integrity
How difficult is installation and what else will I need?
Installation is generally straightforward for a mechanically inclined DIYer or technician: remove the damaged bracket, align the replacement, and secure fasteners. Depending on the vehicle, basic hand tools and replacement clips or bolts (if damaged) may be required.
- Typical tools: socket set, trim tools, screwdriver
- Inspect fasteners and retainers; replace any worn clips
- Professional installation recommended if unfamiliar with bumper removal
Who is this for: This KarParts360 bumper bracket pair is ideal for Scion xB owners, body shops, and mechanics who need an exact-fit replacement that restores proper bumper alignment and curbside appearance. It’s especially useful when one or both original brackets are cracked, broken or missing and you want matching, factory-sealed parts that meet OEM reference numbers.
