kayme RV Tire Covers 2-Pack — 27–29 inch Silver Wheel Protectors, Waterproof UV-Reflective, Elastic Fit

Kayme RV Tire Covers 2-pack are heavy-duty, four-layer wheel protectors designed to shield 27–29 inch tires from sun, rain, and snow while parked.

These tire covers combine a reflective outer layer, waterproof membranes, and a soft inner lining to protect rubber from UV, moisture and environmental wear. Sold as a pair, they fit many travel trailers, campers, trucks, SUVs and boat trailers when the overall tire diameter measures between 27 and 29 inches. A secure elasticized hem, cord and hook keep the cover in place through breezy conditions, and each set includes a compact storage bag for easy transport.

How do these covers protect tires during long-term storage?

The four-layer construction balances reflectivity and waterproofing with interior softness to reduce surface abrasion and block sunlight. This combination helps limit exposure to elements that accelerate rubber aging when vehicles sit idle.

• Reflective aluminum layer reduces heat from direct sun.
• PE & PEVA membranes deliver full waterproofing against rain and snow.
• Soft cotton inner lining prevents scuffing on tire sidewalls.
• Durable outer fabric resists punctures and abrasion.

Will these fit my trailer, and how do I measure correctly?

These covers are labeled Model L and fit tires with a total diameter between 27 and 29 inches (this is tire diameter, not rim size). Use your tire’s sidewall markings or a simple calculation to confirm the overall diameter before ordering.

• Check tire marking format (example: 205/75/15) and apply the diameter formula provided in the product guide.
• Measure from ground to top of tire if unsure; aim for 27–29 inches total diameter.
• Compatible with RVs, campers, truck/SUVs, Jeeps and boat trailers when within size range.

How easy is installation and will covers stay on in wind?

Installation is straightforward: slip the cover over the tire, cinch the elastic hem, then secure the cord and hook to anchor it. The elastic-fit band combined with the adjustable cord is designed to minimize slippage and keep the cover snug during windy conditions.

• Elasticized hem for a quick, tight fit.
• Adjustable cord with hook for added security in wind.
• Lightweight design allows single-person installation and removal.
• Each pair includes a storage bag for neat stowage.

What materials are used and why do they matter?

Kayme uses a four-layer fabric stack combining reflective aluminum, PE and PEVA waterproof layers, plus an inner cotton lining. Each layer adds a specific function—thermal reflection, water barrier, and gentle internal protection—making the covers suitable for a variety of weather conditions without sacrificing durability.

• Outer reflective layer reduces sun absorption and heat buildup.
• PE & PEVA layers form a waterproof barrier against rain and snow.
• Inner cotton lining cushions tire sidewalls and reduces friction.
• Heavy-duty construction increases resistance to tearing and wear.

Who this is for: These tire covers are intended for RV and trailer owners, seasonal vehicle keepers, boat trailer users and anyone who parks vehicles outdoors for extended periods and wants an affordable way to reduce environmental exposure. Choose Kayme Model L when your tire’s overall diameter measures between 27 and 29 inches and you want a reusable, secure pair that tucks away in its included storage bag.
