kerwinn 12V Air Horn Compressor 150 dB — Compact Black 180W Pump for Trucks, Cars & Boats

kerwinn's 12V air horn compressor delivers a compact, 150 dB horn boost for vehicles, providing fast, reliable air pressure to power trumpet-style air horns.

This compact 12V air pump is built to run high-volume horn trumpets on cars, trucks, vans, boats and other vehicles. With a 180W motor and a working pressure range around 1–1.5 bar, it produces a steady, loud output while using corrosion-resistant components and a rubber-sealed head for dust and water protection. The unit is designed for straightforward replacement or new installations where space is limited but sound output matters.

How loud and powerful is this compressor?

The kerwinn compressor is rated up to 150 dB at the horn, driven by a 180W motor on a 12V supply. It maintains a stable frequency suitable for trumpet-style air horns so the sound stays distinct and consistent under repeated use.

• Maximum sound output up to 150 dB for clear, attention-grabbing signals
• Power: 180W on a standard 12V vehicle electrical system
• Operating pressure approximately 1–1.5 bar for reliable horn inflation

Will this compressor fit my vehicle and installation space?

The unit’s compact design makes it easy to mount in tight engine bays, under seats, or inside trunks and cabins depending on the application. It's compatible with most 12V systems used in cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles and marine craft when connected with appropriate fittings and secure electrical wiring.

• Designed for 12V systems common to cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles and boats
• Small footprint for flexible mounting locations and easier retrofit
• Standard electrical connectors and mounting points for straightforward installation

How durable is the compressor in harsh weather or dusty conditions?

kerwinn built this pump with longevity in mind: a copper-wound coil improves conductivity and heat handling while a rubber cover over the head prevents dust and moisture intrusion. The corrosion-resistant construction and protective sealing help the unit keep working in wet or dirty environments.

• Copper coil internals for improved conductivity and extended service life
• Rubber-sealed head offers dustproof and waterproof protection
• Rust-resistant materials for reliable outdoor and marine use

What do I get in terms of support and replacement options?
