Kingrol Car Wash Grit Guard Inserts 4-Pack — 10.24" Black Dirt Trap for 3–5 Gallon Buckets, Raised Grid & Finger Holes

Kingrol 4 Pack Car Wash Bucket Grit Guard Inserts are durable 10.24" dirt-trapping grids that sit in 3–5 gallon buckets to separate grit from wash mitts and keep your wash solution cleaner.

Keep abrasive grit out of contact with microfiber mitts, sponges and brushes during every wash. These four black grit guards are molded with an open radial grid that channels heavier sand and debris beneath the insert while offering a textured surface to agitate and rinse wash tools. Each insert measures about 10.24 inches across and 2.5 inches tall and includes five finger holes to make lifting, rinsing and repositioning quick and simple.

How do these inserts stop grit from scratching paint?

The raised grid holds your wash mitt above the bucket floor so dense particles fall past the grate and stay trapped under the insert. That separation reduces the chance of picking grit back up when you dip your mitt, helping you avoid dragging abrasive particles across paintwork.

• Open radial grid directs heavier debris down and away from tools
• Raised platform keeps mitts elevated from settled dirt
• Textured surface gives a place to rub off embedded sand before reusing mitts

Will these fit my bucket and how do I install them?

Designed for most standard 12-inch diameter car wash buckets, the 10.24" inserts fit neatly inside 3–5 gallon buckets but it’s best to measure your bucket’s inner diameter first. Installation is straightforward: drop the insert into the bottom of the bucket and press down so it sits flat—use the finger holes to lift or remove it easily for rinsing.

• Approx. 10.24" diameter works with typical 12" buckets
• Five finger holes for easy removal and repositioning
• Stack two inserts for extra grit separation or use one per wash stage

What cleaning tasks are these grit guards best for?

These inserts work well across the full detailing process: primary wash buckets, rinse buckets, wheel buckets or as backups for seasonal cleaning. The grid encourages debris to settle out of the wash solution so you maintain cleaner water through repeat dips and reduce contamination when switching tools between tasks.

• Primary wash bucket to protect paint-safe mitts
• Rinse or wheel buckets to isolate heavy brake dust and grime
• Portable solution for mobile detailers and DIY car care

How durable and reusable are Kingrol inserts?

Manufactured from sturdy plastic, each insert withstands repeated use, rinsing and storage without warping. The simple design requires no adhesives or hardware—just lift, hose off and return to service for many washes.

• Resilient molded plastic holds shape wash after wash
• Easy to rinse clean and quick to dry for repeated reuse
• Comes as a 4-pack so you can dedicate inserts to different tasks

Who is this for: Detailers, enthusiasts and everyday car owners who want an affordable, low-effort way to reduce abrasive contamination during washing. If you use microfiber mitts, sponges, brushes or multiple buckets when cleaning vehicles, the Kingrol 4 Pack grit guards provide an inexpensive upgrade that protects paint and prolongs the life of your wash tools.
