Kohree RV Door Lock Replacement Paddle Deadbolt, 100% Zinc-Alloy, IPX3 Splash-Resistant

Sturdy, weather-resistant paddle deadbolt designed to replace your RV door handle with a 100% zinc-alloy assembly built for long-term durability and secure operation.

If you need a reliable replacement handle for a travel trailer, camper, horse trailer, cargo hauler or truck door, the Kohree RV Door Lock Replacement pairs a solid zinc-alloy construction with straightforward installation. This paddle-style lock is finished with oxidation resistance and IPX3 water protection, sized to work with common RV cutouts and supplied with extra hardware and keys so you can swap it into place quickly.

Will this paddle deadbolt fit my RV door cutout and thickness?

Yes — the Kohree handle is made for standard RV openings and typical door panels. Confirm your door’s cutout and thickness against the lock’s specifications before purchasing.

• Recommended cutout: approximately 2.67" x 3.6" to match common RV openings.
• Door thickness compatibility: fits from 1.25" to 1.5" panels.
• Includes two mounting plates to accommodate variations in trim and panel style.

How durable and weatherproof is this RV lock replacement?

The Kohree lock uses 100% zinc alloy and multi-stage casting for a more robust, heavier assembly than mixed-metal or plastic alternatives. It is treated for oxidation and rated IPX3 for splash protection, making it suitable for outdoor use and repeated operation.

• Material: full zinc alloy construction for higher hardness and tensile resistance.
• Surface finish: oxidation treatment to reduce corrosion and wear.
• Ingress protection: IPX3 splash resistance for wet-weather durability.

What comes in the box and is installation difficult?

The kit arrives with everything needed to mount and secure the paddle deadbolt, plus extra screws to adapt to thicker doors or repair worn threads. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic tools.

• Included: paddle latch assembly, latch mechanism, 4 keys, and 2 support plates.
• Hardware: 12 screws total — includes 4 extra 3mm-longer screws for varied door thicknesses.
• Installation: simple swap for most RV doors; basic screwdriver and alignment checks required.

How does this Kohree lock compare to lighter materials?

Compared with zinc+aluminum hybrids or plastic handles, Kohree’s 100% zinc alloy design delivers greater weight, strength and longer service life. The higher mass and improved tensile resistance reduce flex and wear under repeated use.

• Weight advantage: about 2.5 lb for the full assembly versus ~1.5 lb for mixed-metal alternatives.
• Mechanical benefit: thicker solid base for stable mounting and resistance to deformation.
• Longevity: wear-resistant finish and harder alloy slow degradation from frequent operation.

Who is this for? Installers, RV owners and fleet managers who need a dependable, long-lasting replacement handle for trailers, campers, horse trucks and cargo haulers will value the Kohree RV Door Lock Replacement. It’s aimed at users who prefer metal hardware over plastic, require a lock that tolerates outdoor exposure, and appreciate a complete kit — screws, plates and multiple keys — that simplifies swapping out a worn or damaged paddle deadbolt.
