Kohree RV Surge Protector 50 Amp 14,000J — IP67 Weatherproof with LED Wiring Analyzer

Kohree's 50 amp RV surge protector is a weatherproof power-safety device that delivers 14,000 joules of surge absorption while diagnosing common pedestal wiring faults.

When you park at a campground or slip into a marina shore power, the electrical pedestal can vary in quality. The Kohree RV Surge Protector combines high-energy surge suppression with a circuit-analyzer LED array and an IP67-rated enclosure so you can both check a shore connection and guard onboard appliances from voltage spikes and wiring errors.

How does this protector identify unsafe shore power?

The integrated circuit analyzer uses diagnostic LEDs to display wiring conditions instantly, so you can spot reversed or open conductors before you plug in. It reports Correct Wiring, Open Ground, Open Neutral, Reverse Polarity, Open Hot, Hot/Ground Reverse, and Hot on Neutral with Hot Open.

• Bright LED indicators for fast, on-site diagnosis
• Detects the most common pedestal faults to avoid damage
• Works before your RV is energized to protect electronics and appliances

What level of surge protection does it provide and how fast does it react?

Kohree's unit is rated for 14,000 joules of energy absorption, which reduces the risk of high-voltage spikes reaching sensitive circuits. The protector is engineered to respond in nanoseconds, shunting transient energy away from RV wiring and equipment.

• 14,000J capacity to blunt large transient surges
• Near-instant response time to transient overvoltages
• Designed for common RV appliances: A/C, fridge, converters and more

Will it hold up outdoors and fit different power pedestals?

The housing meets IP67 ingress protection so it resists rain, snow, dust and temporary immersion, while an enlarged waterproof cover accepts most RV power plugs. The rugged molding and flame-retardant materials reduce short-circuit and fire risk in outdoor conditions.

• IP67-rated enclosure for reliable all-weather use
• Large sealed cover accommodates varied plug sizes
• Durable flame-retardant and pure-copper components for safe conduction

How is the design tailored for everyday RV use?

Ergonomics and durability are built into the unit: a right-angle male connector reduces strain at the pedestal, and soft-grip handles make plugging and unplugging safer. Kohree also protects the visual and plug innovations under U.S. design patents.

• Right-angle male plug lowers cable bend and wear
• Ergonomic grip handles for safe handling even with wet hands
• Patented appearance and plug layout for practical longevity

Who is this for? This device is suited to RV owners, full-timers, and seasonal campers who rely on shore power and want both proactive electrical diagnostics and robust surge defense. It’s a strong choice for people who run air conditioners, refrigerators, battery chargers, microwaves and sensitive electronics in their trailers and want a compact, weatherproof safeguard that’s simple to use.
