Korkay Awning Cleaner 1-Gallon – Industrial-Strength Black Streak Remover, Safe on Paint & Decals

Korkay Awning Cleaner and Black Streak Remover is an industrial-strength, ready-to-use 1-gallon solution formulated to lift road grime, black streaks, sap, and mildew from RV awnings, boats, trailers, and vinyl surfaces without harming paint or decals.

This heavy-duty cleaner was developed for recreational vehicles and outdoor equipment that face constant exposure to road residue, tree pitch, airborne pollutants, and moisture-related staining. Korkay’s formula targets stubborn deposits on painted and non-painted substrates — including gel coat, fiberglass, hard and soft vinyl, rubber, and surfaces with decals or pinstriping — while remaining simple to apply: spray, scrub, and rinse. It’s popular among RV owners, marine enthusiasts, detail shops, and homeowners who need a dependable product to restore exterior surfaces quickly.

How does Korkay remove black streaks without damaging paint or decals?

The formula is balanced to dissolve and lift organic grime and pollutant residues that create streaks, yet it is safe on painted finishes and graphics when used as directed. It works by breaking the bond between contaminants and the surface so residues rinse away instead of being dragged across the finish during cleaning.

• pH-balanced cleaning agents that are effective yet non-abrasive
• Safe on pinstriping, decals, and clearcoat when rinsed properly
• Removes air and water pollutants that cause black streaking

What surfaces and vehicles can I clean with this product?

Korkay’s Awning Cleaner is formulated for a wide range of outdoor surfaces: RV awnings, coach exteriors, trailers, boats, and vinyl accessories such as fencing, siding, and patio furniture. It also performs well on gel coat, fiberglass, and rubber trim, making it a versatile choice for multi-surface maintenance.

• RV and trailer awnings and painted coach bodies
• Boats, gel coat, and marine fiberglass
• Vinyl siding, fencing, outdoor furniture, and rubber trim

How do I use the 1-gallon bottle for best results?

Application is straightforward: apply to the affected area, agitate with a brush or soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water. For vertical surfaces or heavy deposits, work in small sections and avoid letting the product dry on the surface before rinsing.

• Spray or pour onto surface, then brush to loosen debris
• Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer or garden hose
• Test a small inconspicuous area first if concerned about delicate decals

Does it handle mildew, sap, and road grime as well as black streaks?

Yes — Korkay’s formulation targets a broad range of common outdoor pollutants, including mildew staining, tree sap, pitch, and accumulated road grime. While especially effective on streaking, it also helps restore the appearance of heavily soiled surfaces when used with mechanical agitation and proper rinsing.

• Loosens mildew and organic staining for easier removal
• Dissolves sap and pitch with targeted application and brushing
• Removes compacted road grime from body panels and trim
