KUST Windshield Sun Shade for Honda CR-V 2007–2022 — Custom-Fit Silver/Black Foldable UV-Blocking Insulated

KUST's custom-fit foldable windshield sun shade is designed specifically for Honda CR-V models 2007–2022 to block sunlight and reduce interior heat buildup.

If you own a Honda CR-V from 2007 through 2022 and want a tidy, reliable way to keep the cabin cooler and protect surfaces from sun damage, this tailored sunshade fits the bill. The KUST shade uses a double-layer reflective fabric and spring-steel frame that unfolds to fill the windshield area without gaps, then compresses down for compact storage. It’s made to be easy to use, durable, and to reduce the time your air conditioning needs to reach a comfortable temperature.

How well does this shade block sunlight and UV rays?

The KUST shade uses a two-layer construction — a silver reflective layer facing outward and a black insulating layer inside — to limit solar heat and light transmission. It’s built from a dense 250T fabric that dramatically reduces interior temperature spikes and helps prevent dashboard and upholstery fading. While no shade can eliminate heat completely, this design is optimized to block the majority of direct sunlight and harmful UV exposure.

• Double-layer 250T reflective fabric for stronger sun reflection
• Silver exterior reflects radiant heat away from the windshield
• Black interior layer adds insulation and reduces internal light
• Manufactured to fit the full windshield area with minimal gaps

Will a KUST sunshade make my car’s air conditioning more efficient?

Yes — by keeping cabin temperatures lower while parked, your AC has less work to do when you start the vehicle. Cooler interiors mean the system reaches set temperatures faster, which can reduce idle cooling time and can slightly lower fuel or energy use during the initial cooling period. The shade helps preserve the cold already in the cabin when you return to the vehicle.

• Reduces initial AC run-time by limiting inside heat gain
• Helps maintain a lower starting cabin temperature
• Can lead to minor fuel or energy savings over many uses

How easy is it to install, remove, and store the shade?

Installation and removal are quick and tool-free: unfold the shade, position it against the windshield, and secure it by using the vehicle’s sun visors or tucking edges into the window seals if needed. When not in use, the spring-steel frame snaps back into a compact circular shape that stores neatly in a trunk or under a seat. The fabric resists creasing, so it remains ready for repeated use.

• Pop-open spring-steel frame unfolds in seconds
• No suction cups, adhesives, or special mounts required
• Folds down easily for compact storage between uses

Is this shade truly a custom fit for all CR-V model years listed?

KUST designed this shade to match windshield dimensions common to Honda CR-V models from 2007 through 2022, offering an edge-to-edge fit that minimizes light gaps. The tailored shape ensures full windshield coverage for these model years, improving performance versus generic universal shades. Always check shape compatibility with your specific trim or aftermarket windshield modifications before buying.

• Made to cover full windshield area for 2007–2022 CR-V models
• Edge-to-edge fit reduces exposed glass and sun leaks
• Best suited for stock windshields without oversized accessories

Who is this for: KUST’s windshield sunshade is for Honda CR-V owners who want an easy-to-use, durable sun protector that fits their vehicle precisely. It’s a practical choice for commuters, families, and anyone who parks in sun-exposed areas and wants to preserve interior surfaces, speed up air-conditioning start-up, and reduce cabin heat when returning to their car.
