KUST Windshield Sun Shade for Toyota 86/GR86/BRZ/FR‑S — Custom-Fit, Double-Layer 250T Reflective

KUST's custom windshield sun shade is a vehicle-specific, double-layer reflective cover that blocks up to 99% of UV rays and reduces interior heat for Toyota 86, GR86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S models.

If you own a Toyota 86 (2017–2021), Toyota GR86 (2022–2023), Subaru BRZ (2013–2023) or Scion FR-S (2012–2016), this sunshade is cut to precisely fit your windshield with full coverage and no gaps. It uses a 250T reflective fabric with a silver outer face to reflect sunlight and a black inner face to provide extra insulation, helping protect dash, seats and electronics while making the cabin cooler when you return to your car.

How does this shade fit my specific model and year?

The KUST shade is tailored for the exact windshield dimensions of the supported Toyota, Subaru and Scion models for the listed years. A precise cut ensures edge-to-edge coverage so you won't have exposed glass that lets heat in. Installation doesn't rely on suction cups or adhesives, so it won’t damage trim or leave residue.

• Model fit list included for Toyota 86 (2017–2021), GR86 (2022–2023), Subaru BRZ (2013–2023), Scion FR-S (2012–2016)
• Custom-shaped to eliminate gaps and light leaks
• No hardware or permanent mounting required

What materials and technology are used to block heat and UV?

This shade is constructed from 250T reflective fabric in a double-layer design: a silver reflective surface faces outward to bounce sunlight, while a black inner layer provides heat insulation. The combined layers dramatically reduce solar heat gain and block harmful ultraviolet light that fades upholstery. The manufacturer rates the shade to block up to 99% of damaging UV rays.

• 250T reflective fabric for high-density protection
• Double-layer construction: silver outward, black inward
• UV-blocking performance helps preserve interior materials

How easy is it to use, store, and keep the shade in good shape?

KUST designed this sunshade for fast one-person deployment and compact storage. An elastic memory steel wire keeps the shade flexible but resistant to permanent deformation so it folds and unfolds smoothly. When not in use it compacts for convenient storage in a trunk or storage compartment without losing shape.

• Quick to install and remove—no tools required
• Elastic memory steel wire prevents warping and maintains shape
• Folds down compactly for easy storage between uses

Will the shade help my car’s air conditioning work better?

By lowering the cabin temperature before you start the car, the shade reduces the load on the air conditioning system. That means the A/C reaches a comfortable temperature faster and requires less energy in the first minutes of driving. Reduced run-time can improve comfort and may modestly reduce fuel or battery usage during cool-down.

• Less initial A/C runtime needed to cool cabin
• Faster, more efficient cooling when you start driving
• Helps minimize sun-induced heat soak on surfaces and electronics

Who is this for: The KUST windshield sun shade is for owners of Toyota 86, Toyota GR86, Subaru BRZ, or Scion FR-S who want a precise-fit, durable sun barrier to protect interiors from UV fading and to lower parked-cabin temperatures. It's well suited for daily commuters, weekend drivers, and anyone who parks in sun-exposed areas and prefers a simple, no-damage installation and compact storage.
