LCGAOYA RV Screen Door Protector Grille for Dogs — Adjustable 22–31.5" Aluminum Guard, Scratch-Resistant

LCGAOYA RV Entry Screen Door Protector Grille is an adjustable aluminum guard that shields RV screen doors from dog scratches while preserving ventilation and visibility.

Designed specifically for recreational vehicles, this screen door protector combines robust materials and a simple installation to protect the most vulnerable area of your RV: the mesh entry screen. The lightweight aluminum alloy construction resists bending and tearing from pet claws, and the adjustable fit adapts to most RV screen door widths so you can add protection without modifying the original door.

How will this protector handle energetic dogs who scratch at the door?

The LCGAOYA grille creates a physical barrier that prevents claws from contacting and tearing the screen fabric. Its aluminum alloy panels are strong enough to absorb repeated scratching and reduce repair frequency.

• High-strength aluminum alloy resists bending and punctures.
• Full-coverage panel blocks direct access to mesh fabric.
• Mounting hardware secures the protector tightly to limit leverage.

Will it fit my RV screen door and how adjustable is the unit?

This protector is made to accommodate a wide range of RV entry screens, expanding and contracting to match typical door widths. The flexible adjustment range allows installation on most standard RV screen doors without trimming or special tools.

• Adjusts from 22 inches to 31.5 inches for broad compatibility.
• Includes bolts and screws for secure, custom fitting.
• Expandable design fits inside existing door frames without permanent changes.

How difficult is installation and what tools are included?

Installation is straightforward and intended for DIY assembly, with all required fasteners and a wrench supplied in the package. Most users can complete setup with only the included components and a few minutes of work.

• Comes with screws, bolts and an installation wrench.
• No need for extra materials or professional help.
• Clear mounting points reduce alignment time.

What maintenance or care does the protector require?

The aluminum surface is low-maintenance and cleans easily with mild soap and water to remove dirt or pet residue. Periodic checks of fasteners will keep the guard secure and functioning as intended.

• Wipe down with a damp cloth to remove debris.
• Tighten screws occasionally to ensure a snug fit.
• Inspect for dents or deformation after heavy impacts.
