LCGP 3" Ultra Quiet Resonator for 3" Exhaust — 14" Overall, 304 Stainless Oval, Straight-Through Core

The LCGP 3" Ultra Quiet Resonator is a universal 3" inlet/outlet stainless steel muffler that reduces drone while maintaining exhaust flow and a deeper tone.

Designed as a drop-in resonator for 3" exhaust systems, this oval-shaped 304 stainless steel unit measures 14" overall and combines a straight-through core with a larger sound-absorbing chamber to cut interior noise without choking performance. Its durable stainless construction resists corrosion for longer life, and the universal sizing fits any 3" pipe — welding or professional installation recommended for best results.

How does the resonator reduce cabin drone without hurting flow?

The LCGP resonator uses a straight-through design paired with an expanded sound-absorbing chamber. This layout lets exhaust gases pass with minimal restriction while the chamber soaks up mid- and high-frequency resonance that causes cabin drone. The result is a richer, throaty exhaust note at open throttle and a quieter cabin at cruising speeds.

• 3" inner diameter inlet and outlet for unobstructed flow
• Straight-through core to preserve exhaust velocity
• Large absorbent chamber targets drone frequencies
• Oval shape increases internal volume without extra length

What are the exact dimensions and fitment details?

This resonator is engineered to be a universal fit for 3" exhaust pipes. The overall length is 14", with a 10" body length and two body width measurements to accommodate the oval cross-section. There is no directional inlet or outlet difference, making installation orientation flexible.

• Inlet/outlet inner diameter: 3" (76 mm)
• Overall length: 14"; body length: 10"
• Body widths (oval): approximately 5" and 6.8"
• No dedicated inlet/outlet side — reversible installation

What materials and construction features improve durability?

The LCGP resonator is built from 304-grade stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life in road conditions. Welded seams and a solid straight-through core reduce leak points and help the unit retain structural integrity through heat cycles. While the construction is robust, professional welding is advised to ensure a secure, leak-free connection to exhaust pipes.

• 304 stainless steel resists rust and road salt
• Welded construction minimizes leak potential
• Internal sound-absorbing chamber maintains performance over time
• Recommended: professional installation or welded joints

How will this resonator change my vehicle’s sound and driving feel?

Expect a deeper, less buzzy exhaust tone with reduced cabin resonance during steady cruising. Because the core is straight-through, backpressure is kept low so throttle response and exhaust velocity remain largely unaffected. The unit is aimed at drivers seeking a more refined sound rather than an aggressive volume increase.

• Reduces mid/high-frequency drone at cruising speeds
• Deeper, throaty tone under acceleration
• Low added backpressure preserves engine response
• Ideal for street-driven vehicles wanting subtle sound refinement

Who is this for: The LCGP 3" Ultra Quiet Resonator suits drivers with 3" exhaust systems who want to cut cabin drone and deepen tone without sacrificing exhaust flow. It's a practical upgrade for daily-driven cars, sport commuters, and custom exhaust builders who need a durable, universal-fit stainless resonator. For the cleanest installation and longest life, pair with professional welding and routine inspection of joints and hangers.
