The LDMINDA PV2 is a solid-brass combination proportioning valve that balances brake pressure for vehicles with front disc and rear drum brakes, replacing GM part 172-1353/25509419.
This heavy-duty PV2 valve is engineered as a direct-fit replacement for older OEM combination valves used on many classic Chevrolet, GM and Ford vehicles when converting or maintaining disc/drum braking systems. Built from solid brass to resist corrosion and wear, it replicates the original AC Delco-style design and works with dual-reservoir master cylinders to regulate fluid flow, preserve residual pressure and provide a dependable warning path in case of system failure.
The PV2 proportioning valve modulates rear brake line pressure so the front disc brakes engage before the rear drums in heavy stops, helping prevent rear-wheel lockup. It also preserves a small residual pressure to improve pedal feel and maintain drum shoe clearance.
The PV2 is a universal replacement for many dual-reservoir master cylinder systems and is specifically specified to replace GM part numbers like 172-1353 and 25509419. Compatibility is high with classic Chevrolet, GM and many Ford models that used combination proportioning valves for front disc/rear drum brakes.
The valve is machined from solid brass for long life and reliability under brake-system conditions. LDMINDA tests components to meet OEM-style specifications so the valve performs consistently with original equipment over time.
Installation follows standard brake-line replacement procedures and requires proper line fittings and torqueing to prevent leaks. After installation, bleed the brake system and verify pedal firmness, line integrity and proper front-to-rear braking balance before normal driving.
This LDMINDA PV2 brass combination proportioning valve is for classic-car owners, restoration shops and DIY mechanics who need a reliable replacement for original GM-style combination valves or are upgrading brake systems from drum to disc. It suits vehicles that use dual-reservoir master cylinders and require OEM-like flow control and residual pressure behavior. Backed by LDMINDA’s one-year service support, it’s intended for anyone seeking a durable, OEM-compatible proportioning valve for maintenance or restoration projects.
