LESAUCE LED License Plate Light Kit for 1994–2002 Dodge Ram — 6000K White, Black Housing, Plug-and-Play

LESAUCE LED License Plate Light Kit is a direct-fit, plug-and-play replacement that brightens the license plate area on 1994–2002 Dodge Ram pickups with cool 6000K white LEDs and a black housing.

Replace dim, aging bulbs with a kit engineered to match factory fitment for 1994–2001 Ram 1500 and 1994–2002 Ram 2500/3500 models. The package includes both housings, LED bulbs, and wiring harnesses so you can swap both sides without cutting or splicing. Built-in CANbus resistors prevent dashboard errors while the durable black polycarbonate housing resists heat and the elements for a neat, long-lasting upgrade.

Will this fit my Dodge Ram without modifications?

Yes — LESAUCE designed this kit as a direct replacement for the specified model years so installation follows the factory mounting points and connector style. The OE-matched plug means you won’t need to rewire or adapt connectors.

• Compatible with 1994–2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickups
• Compatible with 1994–2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups
• Uses the original style connector — no cutting or splicing
• Installs in minutes using factory screw locations

How bright and what color is the light?

The LEDs produce a crisp 6000K cool white output that improves visibility over stock incandescent bulbs. Expect a significantly brighter, cleaner light that highlights your plate and rear area while drawing less power from the electrical system.

• 6000K cool white color for clear illumination
• Approximately 3× brighter than typical stock bulbs
• Energy-efficient LEDs that reduce current draw
• Uniform light pattern for even license plate coverage

Are there any electrical or warning-light issues?

The kit includes built-in CANbus resistors to prevent hyper-flash or dash warnings on vehicles with monitoring systems. That means a plug-and-play experience without flickering, error codes, or the need for external resistors on compatible Ram models.

• Integrated CANbus circuitry to avoid error messages
• No hyper-flashing or flicker on monitored circuits
• Designed to work with factory electrical systems
• Reduces the chance of a check-light related to bulb replacement

How difficult is installation and what’s included?

Installation is straightforward and typically takes under 10 minutes with no special tools. The complete kit supplies both housings, two LEDs, and matching wiring harnesses so you have both sides covered right out of the box.

• Includes 2 LED housings, 2 bulbs, and 2 wiring harnesses
• No cutting, drilling, or splicing required
• Fits like the original factory part for quick DIY swap
• Estimated install time: about 10 minutes per side
