How easy is installation and what should I expect?

Installation is intended to be a one-to-one swap with the factory mirror using existing door fasteners and connectors. Typical installations require removing the interior door panel access cover, disconnecting the old mirror harness, and reattaching the new assembly. Basic hand tools are usually sufficient; professional installation is optional if you prefer assistance.
