Lubegard 19250 Assemblee Goo is a green, firm-tack assembly lubricant designed to hold parts in place during assembly and dissolve cleanly when the engine reaches operating temperature.
Whether you're building an engine, installing bearings, or assembling delicate mechanical components, a reliable assembly lubricant prevents metal-to-metal contact and helps maintain correct fit during the build process. Lubegard's Assemblee Goo gives a tacky, non-migrating coating that keeps small parts where you place them and then thins out and dissipates as the assembly warms up.
Assemblee Goo provides a sticky, stable film that temporarily holds fasteners, bearings, seals, and bushings in place so you can position and align parts without slippage. Its firm tack reduces the need for clamps or hands-on support during critical positioning.
Lubegard formulated Assemblee Goo to dissolve as parts reach normal operating temperatures, reducing the chance of long-term residue. It’s designed not to plug filters, orifices, screens, or valves, so it won’t interfere with lubrication circuits when properly used.
Assemblee Goo is formulated to be non-harmful with prolonged skin contact and is safe to keep in a workshop environment. As with any chemical, use basic precautions: avoid ingestion, keep away from eyes, and store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and pets.
Apply a thin, even layer to mating surfaces or fastener threads where you need temporary adhesion. Use sparingly—enough to hold parts but not so much that excess must be wiped away later. For bearings and tight fits, coat the sleeve and shaft lightly to aid installation and prevent initial friction.
Who is this for: Lubegard Assemblee Goo is aimed at professional mechanics, engine builders, motorsport technicians, and serious DIYers who need a dependable, non-migrating assembly lubricant. It’s ideal when parts must remain in place during assembly, when preventing dry starts matters, or when you need a product that won’t clog small passages or create long-term residue.
Q: Can Assemblee Goo clog filters or small orifices?
A: No—it's formulated to dissolve at operating temperature and is not known to clog filters, orifices, screens, or valves when used as directed.
Q: Is it safe for skin contact during assembly?
A: Yes—Lubegard states it is not harmful with prolonged skin contact, but basic hygiene—washing hands after use—is recommended.
