Mann Filter Engine Air Filter C 35 154/1 for Audi & Volkswagen — Prefiltered, Direct-Fit Replacement for 1K0 129 620 E

The Mann Filter C 35 154/1 is a direct-fit engine air filter with a prefilter designed to protect intake systems on compatible Audi and Volkswagen models, replacing VW Group part 1K0 129 620 E.

This high-quality replacement air filter from Mann Filter combines a pleated filtration element and an integrated prefilter to trap particulates before they enter the engine. Engineered for vehicle-specific fitment, it maintains airflow while removing dust, pollen, soot and moisture from intake air. It also helps reduce intake noise and preserves engine components by keeping contaminants out of the combustion zone.

How does this filter improve air quality for my engine?

The Mann Filter C 35 154/1 uses specially embossed filter paper and a prefilter layer to increase particle capture without overly restricting airflow. That balance helps engines breathe clean air while sustaining performance and fuel economy.

• Embossed pleats for stronger pleat stability and consistent filtration area
• Prefilter layer traps larger debris before the main media
• Media captures fine dust, pollen, soot and moisture droplets
• Vehicle-specific sealing reduces bypass and ensures proper fit

Will it fit my Audi or Volkswagen model?

This Mann Filter version is a vehicle-specific replacement for several VW Group models and directly replaces part number 1K0 129 620 E. Always confirm compatibility with your exact year and engine code before purchase to ensure proper fitment.

• Designed as a direct replacement for VW Group (Audi/Seat/Skoda/VW) 1K0 129 620 E
• Vehicle-specific fit type—matches factory housing dimensions
• Simple swap-in installation using existing airbox and clamps
• Check vehicle compatibility list or VIN to confirm match

How long does the Mann Filter C 35 154/1 last and when should I change it?

Service intervals depend on driving conditions: dusty or urban environments shorten life, while light highway use can extend it. Replace the filter according to your vehicle manufacturer's recommended schedule or sooner if you notice reduced airflow or heavy contamination.

• Replace at manufacturer-recommended intervals or if visibly dirty
• Inspect during routine maintenance for clogging or damage
• Harsh environments (dusty roads) may require earlier replacement
• Maintaining a clean filter helps protect turbochargers and sensors

What performance or NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) benefits can I expect?

The filter's design reduces intake noise while preserving smooth airflow characteristics. Its stable pleat structure prevents collapse under varying intake pressures, supporting consistent engine response.

• Reduces intake-related noise compared with worn or damaged filters
• Stable pleats maintain airflow and filtration efficiency
• Prefilter reduces sudden ingestion of large particles that can affect sensors
• Helps keep downstream components cleaner for longer service life

Who this is for: The Mann Filter C 35 154/1 suits owners of Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT or Škoda vehicles that specify VW Group part 1K0 129 620 E and who want a high-quality OEM-style replacement. It is ideal for DIYers and professional technicians looking for a direct-fit air filter that balances filtration efficiency, airflow and intake-noise reduction. If you drive frequently in polluted, dusty or pollen-prone areas and want to protect your engine and intake components, this Mann Filter is a practical, vehicle-specific option.
