Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Paste Wax, 11 oz — Deep Reflective Shine & Durable Protection

Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Premium Paste Wax is a hand- or machine-applied paste wax that delivers a deep, reflective shine and durable paint protection using high-grade carnauba and advanced polymers.

Engineered for car owners who want showroom depth without complex prep, this 11 oz tin combines natural carnauba wax with modern polymers to create a glossy, hydrophobic finish. The paste glides on easily, buffs off cleanly and won’t leave a chalky residue, whether you apply it by hand or with a dual-action polisher. It’s formulated to enhance color depth while adding a protective layer that resists light contaminants and helps maintain your clear coat between detailing sessions.

How does this paste wax improve my car’s appearance?

The blend of carnauba and polymers enhances color saturation and produces a high-reflective finish that amplifies gloss. Light reflects more evenly across treated paint, making swirls and micro-imperfections less noticeable. Regular use builds a richer depth and keeps the surface looking freshly detailed longer than untreated paint.

• High-grade carnauba for warm, wet-looking shine
• Polymers that smooth and intensify reflections
• Buffs to a clear, non-dusty finish
• Suitable on single-stage and clear-coated finishes

Will it protect my paint and for how long?

This paste wax creates a protective barrier that helps repel water, light dirt and road grime, extending the time between washes and refreshes. Longevity depends on exposure and driving conditions; in typical garage-kept vehicles you can expect several weeks of enhanced protection. For best results, reapply after washing and drying or following light paint correction.

• Creates a hydrophobic surface to bead water
• Guards against light contaminants and UV fade
• Reapply periodically after thorough cleaning
• Works as a finishing layer after paint correction

How do I apply Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus paste wax?

Application is straightforward: work on cool, clean paint out of direct sunlight for best results. Use a foam or microfiber applicator to spread a thin, even coat; allow it to haze slightly, then remove with a soft microfiber towel. If using a dual-action polisher, apply with a finishing pad at low-to-medium speed for faster coverage and consistent haze time.

• Apply to washed, dried, and cool surfaces
• Use small overlapping sections for even coverage
• Buff off with plush microfiber for mirror-like gloss
• Can be applied by hand or with a DA polisher

Does this product work on all paint types and finishes?

Yes—this paste wax is formulated for use on both modern clear coats and older single-stage paints. It enhances color and shine without altering paint tone. Avoid use on non-painted trim, matte finishes, or uncoated plastics, where a waxed gloss is not desirable.

• Safe on clear coat and single-stage factory paints
• Not recommended for matte or satin finishes
• Do not use on unpainted rubber or black plastic trim
• Test on a small area if paint condition is uncertain

Who is this for? Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Premium Paste Wax is aimed at enthusiasts and casual detailers who want a rich, showroom-quality shine with simple application. It suits owners of older classic cars who appreciate carnauba’s warm depth and drivers of modern vehicles seeking easy maintenance and enhanced gloss. Choose this 11 oz paste if you value tactile application control, a dust-free buff, and the option to use either hand or machine techniques.
