Meguiar's Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Coating, 15 oz 3-Pack — Spray-On Deep Gloss & Long-Lasting Protection

Meguiar's Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Coating is a spray-on formula that delivers a deep, glossy black finish and durable protection for tires with a simple spray-and-walk-away application. Meguiar's Hot Shine combines water-resistant polymers, advanced resins, and premium silicones to produce an even, high-gloss appearance while helping protect rubber from drying and browning. The convenient aerosol format lets you apply a uniform coating without brushes or wipes; the formula levels out on its own to reduce streaks and deliver a professional-looking result in minutes.

How does Hot Shine create that deep wet look?

The product uses a blend of gloss-enhancing polymers and silicones that cling to the tire's surface and refract light for a rich, wet finish. Instead of sitting in ridges or running, the formula levels across the sidewall for consistent visual depth.

• Gloss polymers increase surface reflectivity for a wet appearance
• Silicones smooth and deepen color without greasy residue
• Self-leveling action minimizes streaks and uneven shine

Will this spray help protect tires from weathering?

Hot Shine includes water-resistant additives and anti-ozonates designed to help shield rubber from environmental stressors. While not a permanent cure, the coating forms a protective layer that helps reduce drying, browning, and premature aging when used as part of routine care.

• Water-resistant polymers shed moisture and road grime
• Anti-ozonates help slow ozone-related cracking and discoloration
• Regular applications maintain the protective barrier over time

How do you apply the 15 oz spray for best results?

Start with a clean, dry tire free of old dressing, dirt, and brake dust for the best bond and longevity. Hold the can several inches from the sidewall and apply evenly; the coating will spread and level itself—no wiping necessary.

• Clean tires with an appropriate brush and cleaner first
• Spray from 6–12 inches away to avoid pooling
• Allow to dry; reapply sparingly for additional gloss if desired

How long does the shine last and how often should I reapply?

Longevity depends on driving conditions, exposure, and cleaning frequency; many users report durable shine for multiple weeks under normal conditions. Reapply when the finish begins to fade or after intensive washing to restore depth and protection.

• Typical wear lasts several weeks under everyday driving
• Reapply after heavy rain, car washes, or long highway drives
• Spot-apply between full coatings to maintain gloss
