Meguiar's M56 Marine/RV Pure Wax 16 oz — Carnauba Gloss & UV Protection for Gel Coat and Painted Surfaces

Meguiar's M56 Marine/RV Pure Wax is a carnauba-based polish that restores deep wet-look gloss and provides durable UV-resistant protection for fiberglass, gel coat and painted RV and boat surfaces.

Keep gel coat, painted hulls and RV exteriors bright and shielded with a formulation that pairs Brazilian carnauba with modern polymers and resins. Designed for recreational boaters and RV owners, this 16 oz container balances show-quality shine with weather-resistant defense and works well by hand or with a dual-action polisher.

How does this wax protect surfaces from sun and weather?

Instead of relying on a single ingredient, this product uses pure carnauba together with synthetic polymers to form a resilient barrier. That barrier helps reflect UV exposure and slows the early breakdown of color and clear coats while keeping a glossy appearance.

• Carnauba provides high-gloss finish and water beading.
• Polymers and resins add durability against sun and light abrasion.
• Suitable for extended outdoor exposure on marine and RV exteriors.

Will it work on different exterior surfaces and colors?

Yes — this wax is safe for fiberglass gel coat, painted metal, and clear-coated metal-flake finishes commonly found on boats and RVs. It particularly enhances depth on dark colors and metallic finishes without harming the substrate when used as directed.

• Formulated for gel coat and automotive-style paint surfaces.
• Improves color richness on dark and metallic finishes.
• Non-abrasive when applied by hand or machine following directions.

How do I apply Meguiar's M56 for best results?

Application is straightforward: work on a cool, clean surface and apply a thin, even layer. Remove haze with a clean microfiber pad; repeat for additional protection. It is compatible with hand application or a dual-action polisher for faster coverage.

• Clean surface thoroughly before waxing for best adhesion.
• Apply thin coats; allow slight haze, then polish off with microfiber.
• Use a polisher for larger areas to save time and improve uniformity.

How long will the finish last and how often should I reapply?

Longevity depends on exposure and maintenance, but the polymer-enhanced formula typically outlasts plain carnauba alone. Reapply seasonally or when you notice diminished water beading or gloss, and routine washing will help extend protection between coats.

• Performance varies with sun exposure, storage, and use frequency.
• Inspect finish after major outings; reapply as needed for optimal protection.
• Periodic cleaning before re-waxing ensures better adhesion and shine.

Who is this for: Meguiar's M56 is aimed at boat owners, RV enthusiasts, and detailers who want a traditional carnauba shine combined with modern polymer durability. If you value deep color, classic warmth from Brazilian carnauba, and protection that stands up to sun and outdoor conditions, this 16 oz jar is a practical addition to your maintenance kit.
