Mhrxusd 651P06495 Carburetor Replacement for Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 547cc — Aluminum Alloy, Direct-Fit

The Mhrxusd 651P06495 carburetor is a direct-fit replacement carb specifically built for Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 IntelliPower 547cc and Huayi AX90 series 547cc engines.

This replacement carburetor restores correct fuel-and-air metering for affected 547cc lawn mower engines, improving start-up reliability and running smoothness. Built from aluminum alloy, the unit is engineered to match the original equipment geometry and control points so it fits and adjusts like the factory part. Below you’ll find concise answers to common buyer questions, plus clear lists of what the part does and how it installs.

How will this carburetor improve mower starting and running?

Replacing a worn or clogged carburetor with the 651P06495 helps the engine achieve a proper fuel/air mixture, which typically reduces hard-starting, stalling, and irregular idle. The precision-machined passages and needle/seat arrangement support steady fuel delivery across load changes so the engine responds predictably.

• Restores factory-spec fuel metering for steady idle and throttle response.
• Reduces starting hesitation from flooded or lean conditions.
• Minimizes surging under light load by stabilizing fuel flow.

Is this 651P06495 carb compatible with my engine model?

This carburetor is compatible with Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 IntelliPower Model 13A6A9TSA10 (547cc) and Huayi AX90 series models AX90HU, AX90HUA, AX90HUB, AX90HUC (547cc). Verify engine model and serial numbers before ordering to ensure a direct replacement fit.

• Fits Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 IntelliPower 13A6A9TSA10 (547cc).
• Fits Huayi AX90 series: AX90HU, AX90HUA, AX90HUB, AX90HUC (547cc).
• Check mounting bolt pattern and throttle/choke linkage match prior to installation.

What materials and durability features does the carb have?

Manufactured from a quality aluminum alloy, the 651P06495 is designed to resist wear and tolerate elevated engine-bay temperatures. The metal construction helps maintain precise component clearances and extends usable life compared with lower-grade materials.

• Aluminum alloy body resists corrosion and heat-related warping.
• Precision-machined passages for consistent fuel delivery over time.
• Sturdy mounting points to keep alignment and linkage geometry stable.

How simple is the installation and tuning process?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic small-engine maintenance: remove the air cleaner, disconnect linkages and fuel line, swap the carb, then reconnect and set idle/mixture per the engine manual. The carb includes standard adjustment screws to fine-tune idle speed and fuel mixture for local altitude or load conditions.

• Direct-fit design minimizes modification; follow factory torque specs for bolts.
• Standard throttle and choke linkages attach to OEM points.
• Adjustment screws accessible for on-machine tuning after installation.

Who is this for: This Mhrxusd 651P06495 carburetor is intended for homeowners, landscapers, and small-engine technicians who need a durable, OEM-style replacement for 547cc Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 or Huayi AX90 series engines. It’s suitable when the existing carburetor is leaking, clogged, warped, or otherwise causing poor starting, erratic idle, or loss of power. If you want a direct-replacement component that restores proper fuel metering and keeps your mower operating reliably, this part is designed for that purpose.
