MOCW RV awning motor replacement 373566 — 12V 75-RPM universal Solera-compatible with manual drill override

The MOCW 373566 is a universal 12-volt, 75-RPM replacement motor for RV power awnings compatible with Solera-style systems, featuring a single two-way connector and manual drill override.

This compact replacement motor is built to match OE specifications so you can swap it into most Solera power awning assemblies — including flat-pitched and short-mount units — without extensive modification. Constructed from stainless steel and durable alloy components, it’s designed for everyday use and offers a manual operation option when battery power isn’t available. The unit accepts a single spade-style connector and delivers consistent 75-RPM torque to extend and retract fabric awnings smoothly.

How does this motor fit my existing awning?

The MOCW 373566 is engineered for broad compatibility with Solera power awnings and other similarly designed systems. It follows OE dimensions and mounting points so most replacements are direct installs. If your current motor uses a single-spade connector and matches the 373566 part profile, it’s likely compatible.

• Fits Solera-style awnings including flat-pitched and short assemblies
• Matches OEM 373566 mounting and dimensions
• Single spade connector for straightforward wiring swaps
• Direct-install design minimizes modification time

What happens during a power outage—can I still operate the awning?

This motor includes a manual override allowing you to extend or retract the awning using a cordless drill or hand crank. That means you can stow the awning safely even if the RV’s 12V supply is unavailable. The override is designed to engage smoothly without damaging the gearbox.

• Manual pull-out or drill-driven stow/extend option
• Maintains operation when vehicle battery is dead
• Override mechanism built to protect internal gears
• Quick transition between powered and manual modes

Is the motor durable enough for regular use on the road?

Yes. The MOCW 373566 uses stainless steel and durable alloy components to resist corrosion and handle repeated cycling. The 75-RPM rated speed balances torque and lifespan, making it suitable for frequent extension and retraction during travel and campground stays.

• Stainless steel parts for corrosion resistance
• Durable alloy gearbox housing for long service life
• 75 RPM provides steady torque and controlled motion
• Manufactured to OE specifications for reliable performance

What electrical connection and specifications should I expect?

The motor runs on 12-volt DC power and operates at 75 RPM, designed to integrate with standard RV 12V systems. It uses a single two-way (single spade) connector for power input, simplifying wiring and replacement. Confirm polarity and fuse protection when installing to protect the motor and vehicle wiring.

• 12-volt DC rated for common RV electrical systems
• 75 RPM output for consistent extension/retraction speed
• Single spade two-way connector for straightforward wiring
• Recommended to install with appropriate inline fuse or circuit protection

Who is this for? The MOCW 373566 motor is intended for RV owners, repair shops, and DIYers who need a dependable, OE-style replacement for Solera-compatible power awnings. It’s ideal if you want a direct-fit motor with corrosion-resistant materials, a manual override for peace of mind, and a simple single-spade electrical connection that makes swapping the unit fast and predictable.
