Mothers Ceramic Wash & Wax car shampoo 50 oz — pH-neutral, ceramic-boosting, high-lubricity foam

Mothers California Gold Ceramic Wash & Wax is a 50 oz pH-neutral car shampoo that cleans, boosts ceramic beading, and leaves a slick, streak-free gloss.

Designed for enthusiasts who want an efficient wash that protects and shines, this concentrated formula lifts dirt while reinforcing existing ceramic coatings, sealants, or wax layers. It produces rich suds for a lubricating wash that reduces the risk of swirls, performs well in foam cannons and buckets, and rinses clean for spot- and streak-free results. The watermelon-scented soap is safe on all exterior surfaces and formulated to be gentle yet effective.

How does this product protect existing ceramic coatings?

Mothers California Gold Ceramic Wash & Wax contains additives that temporarily enhance surface repellency, improving water beading and aiding runoff during the wash. It won’t strip cured ceramic coatings because it’s pH-neutral and formulated to clean without weakening protective layers.

• pH-neutral base safe for cured ceramic coatings
• Additives that increase beading and slickness
• Cleans grime without dissolving sealants or wax
• Designed for routine maintenance between ceramic reapplications

Will it reduce the risk of swirls and scratches during washing?

The formula produces ultra-slick, super-sudsing foam that helps lift dirt away from the paint surface so it rinses or is wiped away with less abrasion. Using a foam cannon or bucket wash with proper mitt technique further minimizes contact-related marring.

• High-lubricity suds for safer gliding of wash mitts
• Foam lifts contaminants to avoid dragging them across paint
• Compatible with two-bucket, grit-guard techniques
• Reduced need for aggressive scrubbing

Can I use this with a foam cannon or hand-wash bucket?

Yes—this wash-and-wax is specifically formulated to work in foam cannons, foam guns, and traditional bucket washes. Concentrated-sudsing chemistry ensures stable foam in cannon applications while remaining easy to dilute for hand washing.

• Reliable foaming in pressure foam cannons
• Dilution flexibility for bucket or mitt washing
• Rinses clean without heavy residue
• Leaves an initial wax-like slickness and shine

What finish and scent should I expect after washing?

After rinsing and drying, the paint shows enhanced gloss and a slick, hydrophobic feel that promotes water beading. The product carries a fresh watermelon scent and is formulated to dry spot-free when used with proper water quality and drying technique.

• High-gloss, slick surface feel
• Improved water beading for faster drying
• Fresh watermelon fragrance during the wash
• Formulated for spot-free, streak-free results when rinsed properly

Who is this for: Mothers California Gold Ceramic Wash & Wax is aimed at car owners and detailers who want a single-step wash that cleans safely, maintains or boosts existing ceramic protection, and leaves a glossy, hydrophobic finish. It’s ideal for routine maintenance washes, enthusiasts using foam cannons, and anyone seeking a pH-neutral cleaner that won’t compromise protective layers while improving beading and shine.
