Motul RBF 660 is a high-performance, 100% synthetic DOT 4 racing brake fluid supplied in a 500 ml bottle, engineered for demanding track and competition use.
Designed and produced in France, Motul RBF 660 (part number 101667) delivers a higher boiling point and consistent compressibility compared with conventional fluids, helping preserve pedal feel under heavy braking. This racing-grade formula is intended for motorsport and high‑performance road applications where heat resistance and stable hydraulic response matter. The 500 ml format is convenient for topping up master cylinders and bleeding systems during service intervals or race prep.
RBF 660 is formulated to resist vaporization at elevated temperatures, reducing the risk of pedal fade during sustained, aggressive braking. Its synthetic base and additives keep viscosity stable across a wide temperature range, which supports predictable lever and pedal response.
RBF 660 meets DOT 4 specifications but is optimized for racing use; it is compatible with systems designed for glycol‑based DOT fluids. However, it should not be mixed with silicone-based fluids (e.g., DOT 5). Always follow manufacturer guidance when switching fluid types and perform a full flush if changing formulations.
The 500 ml bottle is sized for topping off or bleeding a single vehicle and for carrying to the paddock. Use clean tools and a proper bleed procedure to avoid contamination; keep the cap sealed when not in use to limit moisture ingress, which reduces boiling point over time.
Like all brake fluids, RBF 660 is hygroscopic and requires careful handling to preserve performance and prevent corrosion of brake components. Wear gloves and eye protection, avoid skin contact, and clean any spills promptly, as brake fluid can damage painted surfaces.
Who is this for: Motul RBF 660 500 ml is aimed at racers, track-day enthusiasts, and performance vehicle owners who demand high-temperature resistance and consistent hydraulic feel. It suits those who perform their own brake maintenance or who need a compact bottle for paddock use. If you require a top-tier DOT 4 racing fluid made in France and optimized for repeated high-energy braking, RBF 660 is a suitable option; if you operate a system specified for silicone-based fluids, choose an appropriate alternative.
Q: Can I mix Motul RBF 660 with other DOT 4 fluids?
A: You can mix with other glycol-based DOT 4 fluids, but a full flush is recommended to avoid contamination and ensure consistent performance.
Q: Is Motul RBF 660 suitable for street-driven performance cars?
A: Yes—it's suitable for high-performance road use, especially where elevated heat resistance is needed, but it’s optimized for track conditions.
